Disappointing result in France - enters at #45.

At least it was physical at no 24 and digital at no 17. Kylie's streaming problem seems to be everywhere...

Eh, it was obviously a cash-in release for Glastonbury, so it not performing that well internationally isn't a surprise at all. I haven't seen any sort of promotion where I live and I imagine it's the same for other markets outside UK and Australia. It'll probably be a decent catalog seller for her eventually though.

Def a UK focused release on the back of Glastonbury which makes sense but it will be an album that will sell for a long time ahead even if in low numbers and not showing on the chart. It will be reduced in price and that helps sales.

Yep I’m not too worried about it under performing - all her promo has been aimed at the UK market so the fact it’s done well in Belgium etc., is a bonus.

The release is a highly focused UK album.
That said, if Kylie decides to re-release the album later it may be the opportunity to the tour the album outside the UK and attract more sales.

Eh, I'd rather they'd not bother to attempt to re-promote it as they'd probably want another new track on it to do that. Just leave it as it is - a collection that'll end up having "drip" sales in other markets as long as they bother keeping this one in print. I'd rather she put her energy into doing a new album.

Keeping the existing version in print is best for the album long term.
A stable hits collection should be available at all times for an artist of Kylies caliber.
Kylie has mentioned a possible addition of disc 3 but this would likely be a limited release and the existing version is what will stay in print.

Even the physical and digital is disappointing for France - it’s always been one of her biggest markets outside of the UK and Australia and I’ve seen her perform there a few times but she seems like she’s in rapid decline there now.

So #3 with 3.2k sold - the album should be silver within its first 4 weeks cheer.gif Also if it stays this way I love the chart run 1-2-3!

Brighton Pride should give her excellent media coverage too to help sales cheer.gif

Pride should def get her some extra sales.Really happy to see it still top 3, would love the album to stick around and have a long chart run and even some re entries down the road.

It should build a good chart run for itself.
I would greatly welcome a chart run like that of the Diamonds release by Elton John.
It stayed on the chart for a long time and build its sales to platinum status before the film came out which really increased its sales.

If we get an update today, sales should pass 5k for this week in the update.

I thought it would easily chart in Sweden as they are bug fans of pop music.
