Hi James! Glad you're liking 'I Feel It Coming'! The Weeknd and Daft Punk make a great team - a pleasant surprise after always associating the latter with the likes of 'Get Lucky' and 'One More Time' which are completely different moods. It just shows they have the ability to recognise what an artist is about in terms of image and sound and keeping that in mind whilst putting their own spin on it. 'I Feel It Coming' is one of those songs that doesn't necessarily go anywhere in terms of its structure, but just naturally has a catchy, slick production that carries the song. I wasn't anticipating such a mass love for 'Rockabye' but it seems to have ticked all the right boxes! The line-up is instantly intriguing, it shares both having a sung chorus with one that's a bit instrumental and, like you say, it has a meaningful message in its lyrics that is quite heart-warming without distracting you from its sound and making you want to dance. It reminds me a little of Ace of Base's 'All That She Wants' in aspects of the song and in its lyrics. 'Tears' is my favourite from Clean Bandit, I think, but 'Rockabye' could quite easily end up as second. Yeah, I thought it looked like 'After the Afterparty' was going to flop badly after seeing its initial performance, but it's not doing too bad at the moment! 'All Night' is far and away better than any of the singles from the last year I find. In fact, it's easily one of their very best. I'm very glad it's actually becoming a fairly-decent sized hit all considered; hopefully that'll encourage them to experiment further with this new direction.
