The trailer looks ridiculous and M Night hasn't got a good reputation recently but the reviews for this have, so far, been overwhelmingly positive! I am intrigued at least as the trailer doesn't really give much away. Anyone else looking forward to this?! |

I saw this about an hour or so ago. For the first 1hr and 15 mins or so, it was awful and "Worst movie of the year" (yes, overtaking 'Sinister Poo') but the twist saved it and from then on, it got bumped up from a 2 out of 10, to about a 4 out of 10. Nothing scary or jumpy at all. It was creepy at times, but nothing too major.
M. Night is terrible anyway (save for 'The Sixth Sense' & 'Unbreakable'). But mehhh. Really don't get how this got good reviews at all. Slow, cliched and boring (even if the twist was genuinely good, I feel like it was wasted on this film). |

Yeah this did not live up to the hype whatsoever, completely bizarre and came away very disappointed. The kids were annoying as hell too.
