16. So Good (feat. Ty Dolla Sign)- avg score- 5.9

Finishing dead last, is the pretty much universally panned So Good. This was a weak choice of single, particularly to lead the album- reaching a similar fate as that of Heavy by Anne-Marie and Lost In Your Light by Dua Lipa released around a similar time. The song is a by-numbers 90s R&B inspired number reminiscent of an Ariana Grande My Everything-era album track and features a shoe-horned in verse from Ty Dolla $ign which didn’t seem to do much for it’s chart success. The song scored rates including a 0, 3.5 but also a 9 which helped boost it up to a *not awful* average score of 5.9.

15. WOW- avg score- 6.05

You all did this dirty, Wow is a BOP. I’m gonna blame the lack of exposure at this finishing so low down on this list. The song is a dance-fuelled number beginning slow and exploding into a massive glitchy drop. I might love this song so much due to her performance of it at her Don’t Worry Bout Me tour where she launched into the splits sparking many viral tweets! However at my show in Manchester her heel broke upon her split and she couldn’t get back up! I was of course this song’s highest scorer, scoring it a 10 but many middling scores of 5 and 5.5’s dragged this down to it’s finishing place of 15. #JUSTICEFORWOW

Deserving bottom 2. I never got why 'Wow' seemed to be pretty popular in the US. 'So Good' is the definition of beige.

'Girls Like' really shouldn't get much higher though. Definitely my least favourite Zara song puke.gif

A citci advert.

I still think Wow could have been much bigger tbh. It could have been a cute top 50 billboard hit

14. Only You- avg score- 6.23

In 14th we have the gorgeous Only You, a song that I must admit, was never going to do the best as a single, definitely a hidden fave of the album but not meant for commercial success! The song is a Rihanna-esque slow jam with an NSFW although confident subtext and features for me, one of her best ever middle 8s. The song scored its highest score from me (apparently I just love all the Zara singles everyone else seems to be indifferent on) giving it a 10 but other scores included a 3 and 6 separate scores of 6 giving it this middling score and seeing it finish in 14th.

13. When You’re Gone (with Tom Walker)- avg score- 6.45

To be honest I thought this was going to come dead last so I’m fairly pleasantly surprised to see it finish as high as number 13. The song was a collab with Leave A Light On-singer Tom Walker and is definitely not an essential Zara offering although cute and features some interesting production. The song scored mainly lowish scores of 5/6/7s.

12. Don't Let Me Be Yours- avg score- 6.73

12th sees Ed She*ran co-write Don't Let Me Be Yours leave us- a song that got many fans pressed for taking album track TG4M's possible place as a single. The song begins as seemingly an acoustic guitar number but then crashes into that electronic drop that's a little jarring imo. Although it's definitely not placed high, I am surprised to see this place as high as number 12 on this ranking.

11. This One's For You (with David Guetta)- avg score- 7

Just missing out on a top 10 spot is David Guetta collab This One's For You- the UEFA (?) Euro 2016 theme song. The song was originally recorded by Ariana Grande but ended up being finalized and released by our Swede-popstar, possibly too match the Europe-theme of the song and context? For me the song is one of her weaker and forgettable efforts with a very predictable 2016 production and powerhouse vocals that are introduced to early in the song for me to enjoy them personally.

So our top 10, in order of release date is-
Uncover
Lush Life
Never Forget You (with MNEK)
Girls Like (with Tinie Tempah)
Ain't My Fault
I Would Like
Symphony (with Clean Bandit)
Ruin My Life
Don't Worry Bout Me
All The Time

10. Girls Like (with Tinie Tempah)- avg score- 7.82

Making top 10, is Zara Larsson's Tinie team-up; Girls Like. The song went on to become a huge hit for the pair upon release peaking at number 5 and finishing as the 26th biggest seller of the year. The song is one of my favourite Zara collabs, the bass is so infectious and just goes off at clubs and parties! The song received 2 9 scores as well as a 9.5 but was dragged down due to it's single score of 4! Still a fairly impressive average for 10th place!

9. Uncover- avg score-7.82 (MORE 10S)

Finising at number 9 is Zara's debut single which reached number 1 in Sweden but didn't even peak top 100 here in the UK, so it's done incredibly well in this rate despite it's lack of exposure. The song is always one Zara seems to love performing live and it gets a great reception from audiences- such a special gorgeous song! The song received a 10 putting it just ahead of Girls Like in the ranking and finishing at an impressive number 9- will definitely be interesting to see how this holds up over the years as it seems to just become more and more loved!

I feel like uncover would have done well as a single tbh in the UK but there just wasn’t any opportunity to release it. It’s done very well sales wise in the U.K. tho despite never going top 100.

8. Ruin My Life- avg score- 8

At 8th is Zara's 2018 single Ruin My Life- a divisive song to say the least, fans either seemed to love it and were happy for a brand new Zara era, or be relatively indifferent to it. The song did manage to become a cute top 10 hit here in the UK- but wasn't quite the massive smash we expected after the success of Symphony and I Would Like- which are still to come! Ruin My Life sees our first 11 score so far, as well as 2 10s however a dreaded 0 score really dragged it down- finishing with a nonetheless respectable average of 8.

7. Never Forget You (with MNEK)- avg score- 8.32

A shocker for me- coming in at only number 7 is Zara's first UK smash hit- Never Forget You; a team-up with UK producer MNEK. The became a top 5 hit here in the UK and the video has nearly 450 million views. This is one I was confident would be a top 5 finish so I'm surprised to see it finish this low. The song gained only a single 10 score with a lowest score of 6 so maybe this is one that's become more dated in Zara's back catalogue as it was hugely loved by Buzzjack upon release if I remember correctly!
