Ooh, I'd been thinking about this recently.
I'd go for Bad Sounds and Lady Bird somewhere in there. |

I'm guessing Kojey Radical, Freya Ridings, The Blinders, Bad Breeding and Moses Sumney.

The shortlist for this will be announced by Annie Mac on 8th December. The BRITs Critics' Choice nominees are out, with the winner announced on the 7th: Lewis Capaldi, Mahalia and Sam Fender.
Lewis is an obvious winner I think! |

Lewis already being a R1 favourite bodes well for him winning Critic's Choice, haven't heard of Mahalia at all and only heard Sam Fender by name so I doubt their chances.
Hoping BROCKHAMPTON and Rina Sawayama are on the list - although both of them are having really successful 2018s just not on the charts! Lewis Capaldi won't be on this one as I've seen he was on last year's, as was Billie Eilish and Jade Bird. (also just seen Sam Fender is on there too ) |

Really hope Sam Fender wins, but I'd be happy with Lewis Capaldi winning.

Sam Fender has won the Brits Critics' Choice Award. Literally the only one that I hadn't heard of

I haven't heard much from him, but have enjoyed what I have heard. I don't know who else was in the running, so can't judge whether it was the best choice imo.
