Does anyone play this game?

Posted by: Snow❄Diploughmat 26th November 2017, 03:05 PM

I think Buzzjack has sent a big resounding NO! here laugh.gif biggrin.gif

Personally in terms of RPG's I prefer open world RPGs (mostly set in the medieval/ fantasy medieval era) rather than tournament ones like Call Of Duty seems to be.

See I wouldn't mind playing these things for the atmosphere generated by a good CoD singleplayer campaign again (we're talking Modern Warfare 1 here) but I have zero interest in multiplayer anything (with rare exceptions made for coop or strategy games) so no need to buy new and Activision is a profit-whore of a company that keeps its old games at ridiculously high prices compared to basically everyone else.

So no, it has not crossed my mind once to buy this, even if I weren't currently handicapped with my ability to play games.

also, speaking of amoral corporate shit gaming companies, why was there not a PEEP on the whole EA Star Wars Battlefront IV II lootbox fiasco on here? I couldn't get away from that a few weeks ago and it was a cool story.

Who’s playing this then?? It’s SO good, the best COD in a while.

Hyped for the DLC

It is the best in ages and whilst the idea of following one small company makes for a more engaging game, making it the Americans means it all ends in an anti-climax once you cross the Rhine and the war suddenly ends. Historically unavoidable but World At War had the advantage of playing as the Russians invading Berlin, which felt like a proper climax

I've been looking to get this and luckily I know someone who I can borrow it off! I've completely avoided CoD since it went all futuristic with wall-running and jetpacks but this looks right up my alley!

I got this for Christmas but I haven't got around to playing yet as I've only just finished updating it. laugh.gif

I dip in and out occasionally but prefer storied action.

Someone at work has told me to get it so he has someone to talk to about it! laugh.gif

What is it like in comparison to like World At War or even CoD 3 back on PS2 (in terms of war-gameplay)?

Posted by: cqmerqnita 9th January 2018, 07:03 PM

It’s just fantastic laugh.gif

Never got round to it unfortunately! Probably wouldn't be too high on my list to play even if I had it as I've got a mountain of a backlog! laugh.gif
