Song descriptions are out in various places, @Schlagerprofil is probably the best place to look.
Schlagerprofilerna@Schlagerprofil 25m25 minutes ago #melfest The mix between Loreens amazing voice gymnastics and that crazy, amazing, dirty beat is GREAT. Yes, I am starting to LOVE this. Schlagerprofilerna@Schlagerprofil 26m26 minutes ago It's not THAT weird. It's just not like anything else you usually hear in #melfest I love it even more the second time. Schlagerprofilerna@Schlagerprofil 27m27 minutes ago #melfest Yes, I think Loreen can win. No doubt. If anyone wondered. Schlagerprofilerna@Schlagerprofil 28m28 minutes ago Loreen again than. I really like this. It's really more art than a song. Which of course make it interesting as hell. #melfest I'm so intrigued, I'm visualising some sort of cross between We Got The Power and LoveWave which is going to be totally wrong. I imagine people will hate the 30 second snippets tomorrow, but it looks like it will come alive on Saturday night. Wiktoria's description sounds fantastic too! Looks fairly clear cut from the descriptions alone: DTF: Loreen, Wiktoria AC: Axel, Jon Henrik 5th: Alice 6th: Les Gordons 7th: Sara Varga & Juha Mulari |

Omg I am GAGGING at "dirty crazy beat" *.* If it's that unique and different and we know she'll smash the performance, she has this surely. I'm also living at the thought of Wiktoria performing something like Gaga's A-Yo which is what I have in my head

I am SO ridiculously excited to hear Loreen's song. Now even more after all the feedback from press I read.

So long as it's not too leftfield, I'm expecting nothing less than an 11/10 moment from Queen Loreen. There's no way she would try her hand again at this with something mediocre.

Cutting off Statements off at that point is a CRIME. Melfest you tease.

Jon Henrik's song sounds a mess with both of them :/
I never thought I'd willingly want a Chainsmokers breakdown, but Running With Lions is screaming for one !!! Bound To Fall sounds nice enough but something that any of my friends who like rock would've liked in like 2009. As I Lay Me Down sounds like an absolute bop, this could surprise. Of course we all know her and Loreen were going DTF since the names were announced lmao, but I mean surprise in the whole thing. Nar ingen ser is good in an Eric Saade's flop Melfest comeback sort of way. Sara.... Yeah last place. Flush. Statemnts sounds massive, you can tell it's going to explode after the bit they cut off but I think she has this. Both Statements and As I Lay Me Down sound like contenders for the whole thing, very exciting heat! Especially as right now it doesn't feel like we have any contenders except I guess Nano by default. I'm tempted to put a bet on Wiktoria now before she gets to the final and the odds shorten... |

Bloody hell, Wiktoria has BROUGHT IT. Winner? I agree, that melody is the tits! Statements cutting out at that point is totally cruel but you can tell it's going to explode after that point Alice and JonHenrik have the next two best songs in the mix. I thought Axel's song was going to be the new 'Broder' but it seems a bit too boppy and not quite on the same emotional level. It's nice enough though. |

Wiktoria really doesn't have anywhere to hide, does she. If she's not on point with her vocals she will fail.
I think she has some competition with Jon Henrick for a DTF spot. His song sounds like a bunch of noise to me, but with a decent performance I think Sweden will eat this up. |

The sheer NERVE of DEVOTED PARISHIONERS losing their shit over this Wiktoria demo when they compared SONG OF THE MILLENNIUM Crucified to ABALONE DOTS has been NOTED

Unless John Henrik comes out in some state of undress I am doubting I'll be on board x
As for Wiktoria's vocals, she was fine (barring the fact her voice was marmite I guess but that can't really be helped) vocally with Save Me, I think this will probably more challenging but I don't see how she'd fail entirely that much on her live performance. |

Loreen sounds promising as expected, obsessed with Wiktoria already though!
At the end of the day, the app voting renders the televoting results practically useless. Analysis showed that Frans was a landslide televoting winner last year on the scale of Mans but that turned into a bonus of just 25 points over second placed Wiktoria. It's all about who the international jury will support and only when its very close will the televoting play a part. You'd imagine international fans will be desperate to vote for Loreen, I'm beginning to think she's got it in the bag. |
