European tour next summer?
Yes please!!
Oh I hope so, would love to see her again, especially now she has got so much of her stage presence back!
Sounds like we’re getting an announcement tomorrow night!
AHHHHH!! I hope she does more than just London and Manchester if she comes to the UK!
So what was the announcement?
Tonight!
Tour dates being added to her official website right now and then removed. Also Live Nation announced dates that were then swiftly removed. US dates in July, UK in August! She’s coming y’all!!
Spoke too soon! Tour dates announced here;
https://www.britneyspears.com/events
She’s doing Brighton Pride
My god. How did Brighton Pride secure Britney *.*
Tickets will be impossible to get hold of. They usually are already, even when acts like Sam Bailey are headlining
Edit: I've got tickets, omg! And only £25 each...!
That's quite a coup for Brighton Pride to actually get Britney. Crikey!
£25???
I doubt the arenas will be that cheap. f*** sake. I need cheap ones peeps. I'm going Disneyland in July Wish they'd put the prices up so people could budget. Ughhh.
Scarborough Open Air Theatre tho *_*
I can't believe she is performing like 20 minutes away from me the day after my 21st!! I'm gonna get tickets, I could cry.
Oh myyyy!Disappointed that she's not coming to the Midlands Deliberating between London and Manchester
"Britney live in Scarborough" Also shocked at Brighton Pride nabbing her.
My social media is going crazy over this!
GLASGOW YASSSS
I I I WANNA GO (to Scarborough! )
I can't believe she's doing a full (ish) UK tour, her first since 2011 surely?!
I’m trying to make it to Brighton! Might have to settle for New York or Florida though, but definitely visiting the uk soon(ish)
Booking Brighton and London!!
Got London tickets!!
I hope I can get Manchester tickets tomorrow, how did people get tickets today? aahhh
Need to budget, how much were tix, roughly?
Jesus I saw 2 times already and why I wanna go and see her again.
I got front row tickets for Manchester remortgaging my house brb x
OK I have made my decision...I am not going lol...tickets are so pricey for NY dates cheapest around 200 USD somewhere all the way in the back
Ofmg just got a facebook notification of nearby events for Britney at SCARBOROUGH of all places
Got them for Manchester at the end, hooray!
New date added at the O2 on the 25th August.
Nearly had a heart attack but I think I managed to get tickets!
Now I'm comprehending how much money I've just spent.
I hope so! A little birthday treat for myself!
Couldn't get tickets.
But I'm gonna attempt to just get a ticket for Brighton Pride when the next batch is released on 1st Feb I think.
I could only get one ticket... I feel terrible I couldn't get 2, I was on the second they went on sale and tried for an hour and nothing came up. I got the Hot Ticket Package, I'm so happy This is my first time seeing her, I've been waiting since I was literally a toddler haha. Is anybody else going solo?
Managed to nab a ticket!!!!!
Are people going on their own? I find it quite daunting haha, so I'm kinda reluctant haha. If so where are y'all going?
https://twitter.com/HoldenElder/status/956437958407655424
Over the past 3 days I've had tickets FOUR TIMES and lost them due to some horrendous website-related error, so today I FINALLY got some and I'm so happy. It nearly finished me though.
I'm glad you managed to get some! The tickets were going so fast! I literally had hold of some, filled out my details and they were still there as I pressed 'purchase' but then they had gone!
Really got the heart pumping.
It's the most stressed I've been buying tickets. Only for Brit
I didn't get tickets! It doesn't seem like there's plans to add any more UK dates either.
I will probably try for Brighton Pride, fingers crossed!
Too pricey not doing it this time
Most of the shows sold out in seconds/minutes lol
That just proves her veteran status whereby her music doesn't sell anymore but her concert tickets fly!!!
I managed to get two standing tickets for Scarborough in the end!
WHAT A f***ING ICON. WHERE YOU AT MICHAEL.
WHERE YOU AT KATY.
Got me tickets today! Orange block, row N.
Standing at Scarborough yasss
Got Brighton tickets! So excited to be seeing Brit twice this year!
I missed out on tickets. Going to keep my eye out incase they add extra seats like they sometimes do. I often get tickets that way, less stressful and the view isn't really that bad. Will probably go on my own unless my sister wants to join me
Seeing Britney in Brighton!!
Britney tickets bought!!
Bal & I are going to London (August 25th)
More UK dates added!
26th August - London
31st August - Birmingham
1st September - Blackpool
and her support act is PITBULL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's Pitbull bitch.
I can't believe I am seeing Britney AND Pitbull! Omg!!
Gutted that she's playing Blackpool the day I go on holiday Will stick with plan A and try to get tickets to Manchester if extras are released
Did you change the tickets? Didn't know you could do dat
Nah I’ve still got the London ones! I’m contemplating going twice, but I’m keeping in mind the option to sell them if need be.
So after selling in matter of minutes the Paris date, they added a second date :queen:
By the time I typed that in, she added a 3rd Paris date lmao...what a queen
I still really want to go to an o2 date but can’t aftord
Later dudes. It’s been fun.
She was amazing as usual 😏
I'm a bit gutted I didn't get tickets now, had the opportunity to get them for £25 in Scarborough open air theatre but even then I was a bit skint so passed on it!
My friends, who haven’t seen her for years commented on how good she looked. The crowds went wild for her old hits, but there wasn’t as much buzz for her songs from Glory.
More importantly, did y'all keep up the "WHO IS IT?" scream?
Just seen that y'all did (and the crowd went OFF when that line hit!!)
LOVE seeing all the articles about her set. They've all been amazingly positive from what I've read. Also, I feel like she actually gives more than usual when it's for her gay fans. (Example, I felt the Slave choreo was a lot smoother than usual!)
FOREVER RELEVANT-ney! GET IT QUEEN.
I went to this and it was an absolutely wild night, the crowd was insane, and huge. My first time seeing Britney live but what an incredible performer, her dancing was off the scale and she looked stunning and so healthy. Was so random to see her perform in a park I've been visiting all my life close to my childhood home!
Good setlist, a nice balance between hits and fan favourites/recent tracks, I never realised how euphoric it would be to hear the likes of Work Bitch/Gimme More/Piece Of Me/BOMT/Stronger/Crazy/Oops live, and Till The World Ends was a stunning closer. Would like to see a future set include some ballads too but you can't have everything.
She did a bit of Britishney too, when she said how much she loves the Brighton accent! And the 'WHO IS IT?' moment was hilarious.
Glad y'all had fun!! SO hyped to see her in two weeks (!!), possibly the most hyped I've ever been for a concert
It's starting to sink in that I'll be seeing her in just a couple of weeks! I've had the This is Britney playlist on my Spotify all week and I'm so hyped!
Looking forward to this: https://twitter.com/RossMrtn/status/1025838087488851975
She was sensational! Me & my friend queued for like 4 hours and whilst I nearly died of debydration. It was worth it.
Yaaas!! *.*
On another note. Im officially going now Got myself a ticket for the 26th August! Exciting.
Brighton was such an amazing moment - all of these gays that have written her off as a relic seeing that she can slay any other pop girl on the stage. Can't wait for the o2 and Blackpool now!
Britney performed in Scarborough yesterday! *_* Manchester date is tonight.
I'm sooo impatient for my date... 13 days to go until Birmingham!
Loved her in Brighton (the crowd were WILD). I'm seeing her again next weekend. The setlist is very nearly PERFECT. It has reminded me why she is my absolute fave.
Britney was absolutely fabulous last night. Opening with 'Work Bitch' was such a moment! *.* As was the 'Toxic' -> 'Stronger' -> 'Crazy' ->'Till the World Ends' closer. Britney's energy throughout the show was incredible and the visuals and dancing was everything.
The crowd, however, was not fabulous. It felt like they had turned up to the wrong show and were expecting someone else as no one sang along to the songs aside 'Baby', 'Oops' and 'Toxic'. Also, I was the only one to scream "WHO IS IT?!" and looked like a right f***ing idiot when everyone glared at me with disgust.
Scarbados was not prepared. It was strange because everyone went mad for Pitbull (rightly so though, he was actually so good!). Me and my friend enjoyed ourselves though, we were having a right sing-along sesh and recreated the Wii Just Dance routine for 'Womanizer'! Was also living for the Missy Elliot dance interlude and the 'Freakshow' performance. *.*
well manchester was poppin + went MAD for her. crowd was so loud + sang along to everything.
it was an almost sell-out too, she packed it o u t
Were you seated or stood? I was seated and I feel like that might have made a difference, although I've got to say that looking down at the standing crowd, it didn't seem like they were very energetic either.
i was seated but was front row in the block next to the stage/in front of the catwalk. it was all seated but everyone was dancing!
Seeing her tonight ❤️❤️
She was a DOT on the stage (:’() but she put on a f***ing show *.* her dancing and performance was fab. It all passed so quickly and I really was overwhelmed
I’m the same as Liam with ‘who is it??’ though, was kinda awkward:’)
I'm going on Sunday! Yyyaaasss. So excited.
I really hope the crowd scream "WHO IS IT?" though (it's in LDN so surely?)
I'm sure London won't disappoint! If you're going with someone else, you'll have a blast regardless.
On my own!! Lmao 🙃
If the crowd is lit, you'll be fine. It's just from the experience I had, having someone with me really helped. Shouting out "who is it?!" at the top of my voice only for no one to join in was really embarrassing and it's only because I had someone who was as excited and as willing to make a fool out of themselves as me that I felt I could enjoy the rest of the concert.
O2 arena was on FIRE last night!
(this post contains setlist spoilers so please beware if you're avoiding them!)
I went to both the Friday and Saturday dates and both were absolutely sensational. Friday night I was sat on level 4 (so right at the top) and Saturday I was on the floor, only a matter of rows away from the b-stage!! The atmosphere pushed tonight ahead for me with the seats (plus company in the form of Jáhq) but both nights were so much fun. First time I've ever done two nights of the same tour but it was so worthwhile.
Pitbull was such a great opener. Perhaps one of the best I've seen, certainly in terms of the response from the crowd. Every song he did was a banger and a well-known hit (bar one that samples We No Speak Americano that he only did at Saturday's show... an odd choice over songs like Time of Our Lives or Wild Wild Love for example). Songs like Feel This Moment went down brilliantly as did the 1-2 punch of his final two tracks - Timber and Give Me Everything plus the features medley including On the Floor!!!
It's been a dream of mine for ages to see Britney live and finally the time came, and she was everything I'd hoped for and more. Work Bitch was an incredible opener, instantly getting everyone in the mood and the tempo didn't slow down at any point. My particular highlights were Piece of Me, Gimme More and If U Seek Amy, but it was the final four tracks that REALLY delivered. Toxic, Stronger, Crazy and Till the World Ends. All absolutely sensational. Toxic and Crazy are long-time favourites of mine, while Stronger has only been creeping up recently. TTWE has never been a HUGE favourite though (I always liked it but never considered it quintessential Britney) so I've done a huge U-turn on it now. Both nights were brilliant for the "who is it?" chants too I didn't know when Gimme More was in the setlist on Friday night so I couldn't do it but I knew for tonight *.*
The setlist could've been improved in some places I think. While I enjoyed Clumsy, Change Your Mind and Do You Wanna Come Over?, I think I'd have preferred a few more Britney classics. Songs like Everytime and Lucky would've slotted in perfectly to break the bangers up a little bit, and we could easily have swapped Boys (my lowlight of the night) for the criminally underrated Overprotected. However, there were more than enough highlights to make up for it and honestly I'd have quite happily enjoyed two nights of Britney singing her worst album tracks I'd easily go again tomorrow night if I had the money!!
omg and the audience member she brought on stage tonight was RYLAN !!!!!!
Thrilled to hear you had such a good time, Joseph! I agree about Pitbull. He's someone I'd never have considered going to see live but his energy on stage and the way he engaged with the crowd really impressed me. I loved how he would tease the intros to the songs he features on, like 'On the Floor', 'I Like It', 'DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love' etc., perform his rap and then explode into the chorus. Definitely got everyone hyped for Britney at Scarborough, even if that didn't continue throughout her set.
I agree about the 'Toxic' to 'Till the World Ends' section, that was probably my favourite too. The crowd at Scarborough did pick up for that so that had a positive effect on me too. I love the tour mix of 'Stronger' and, just like you, 'Till the World Ends' has really shot up my affections after seeing her close with it.
'Lucky' was the main song I felt could have been added and I think it would have been nice if 'Born to Make You Happy' was added for UK audiences, but I thought the likes of 'Change Your Mind' and 'Do You Wanna Come Over?' slotted in really well among her classics so I'm pleased they were included.
I didn't know when 'Gimme More' was coming on either aside from it being early on in the setlist and I knew from YouTube videos that it goes quiet just before it comes on, so I remember frantically telling my friend to start filming just in time! Not that anyone else joined in, of course! :')
I went for a second time last night and she was PHENOMENAL. I had SUCH a fantastic time (despite being quite far back and not having the best view.) Every song just came alive in the arena! Brb listening to Britney Jean Spears forever and ever.
Last night was just sensational. Her not knowing the guys name was lolz
Had so much fun at the Birmingham show <3 Her dancing was definitely waaaay better than when I saw her at Circus & Femme Fatale and she seemed really in the zone (pardon the pun). Crowd interaction was minimal and seemed really forced (though I did like the accent) which was my only gripe, but the show was pretty much continual high energy which made up for that.
She said "hello Birmingham" in Blackpool.
The woman is bloody hopeless.
LMFAO.
ICONIC.
:')
Thankfully she said “Hello Birmingham” when she was actually in Birmingham! Clearly we were such a good audience that we left a lasting impact on her
Had such a great time at her show with Bal! It had been almost 7 years since I last saw her at the Femme Fatale Tour, so certainly a long time coming but absolutely worth the wait. It’s such a relentless set list, high energy from start to finish. We were quite near the catwalk so it was amazing to see her up close (the previous times I’ve seen her in 2009 & 2011 I was in the tiers). I’m not the sort of fan who knows every dance move & how on point or not it is, but from my perspective she put her everything into her performances. Love her so much
I was a bit disappointed that she cut Slumber Party because it’s one of my faves on Glory, but that’s pretty much the only negative I can think of.
Oh and her English accent was... something!
Wtf.
This has pretty much gotten national news traction in Spain.
I dont want to give attention to that one.
I am sure she is telling only her side of the story!!!
She wasn't ready for this tour everything is just a big mess she'd just stuck with Vegas only .
I'm getting increasingly worried about her mental health atm her IG posts have been a bit... :/
Really hope she's ok!
My friend had a really bad M&G experience with her too and said she wasn't really mentally in the room. I agree with Jonjo, that along with not knowing where she is when she performs and the M&G experiences people are having I am starting to worry that she needs a good long break.
That's a shame about your friend.
I really wouldn't feel confident to do a Britney meet and greet. I'd fear it "going wrong" (i.e. Britney being vacant with me / the picture not turning out great), so to potentially taint 20 years of idolisation and spend a hell of a lot of money in the process... I just couldn't risk it. Obviously there's been a lot of good reports from fans that their meets with her went well, but then there's sadly some horror stories. I think for me she's always going to be in the "don't meet your idols" category.
