Definitely in agreement that it feels cut a bit short but VERY anthemic and she sounds amazing. I always forget how much her voice adds to any song because this could really be... an Ava Max song for example, but she's got such a CHARACTER-FULL (not a word but hey) voice that really gives the song a bigger sense of personality.

I'm repeating myself, but the song ending just after it takes off is a choice indeed. I'm sure radio wouldn't mind it being 40 seconds longer. I don't want to playlist it because it just makes me mad laugh.gif

Agreed — the song itself is basic and has been done countless times before but she really does have one of those perfect pop voices. Her vocals in general are massively underrated.

I'm enjoying this and have listened a couple of times to it this morning.
It really does just stop though, doesn't it.
As others have said, could do with being about 30 seconds longer.

This song made headlines in Iceland today because apparently one of the writers is icelandic (Alma Goodman of mid-2000s girl group Nylon fame )

It’s definitely got off to a decent start for a total lack of support which suggests it’s going down quite well! Will keep my fingers crossed this can even just claim a top 40 over time tbh.

Yeah this is definitely a grower. And if nothing else the visuals around this release are MILES ahead of anything she's put her name to since the Prism era. This truly feels like a return to form for her.

Its better than I was expecting, I mean for Alesso its not as good as 'Under Control' or 'If I Lose Myself' which were great, but this is good, Katy sounds good on a dance record again as she did with 'Swish Swish', and if it boosts the popularity of EDM again in America it is also good!
