This lack of points for Ephera so far is displeasing.

The next lucky voter is... Gooddelta, and their record the piano-tinkling building rock-melodrama delight of Eisblumen from Eisblume. Safe to say a German rock band! 020 points __✖__ Moonbootica - These days Are Gone 015 points __✖__ Yasmine Hamdan - Deny (Holmes Price Remix) 012 points __✖__ Anna Of The North – Sway 010 points __✖__ Cosmonaut Grechko – Anytime 008 points __✖__ Lydia Ainsworth – Malachite 007 points __✖__ Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjaerg - Taepet er Faldet 006 points __✖__ Lone - Meeker Warm Energy 005 points __✖__ Indi and The Vegas - Out Da House 004 points __✖__ T.O.L.D. - Lucifer’s Eyes 003 points __✖__ Dreamshow – 16 002 points __✖__ Ghosts – Wlvs 001 points __✖__ Future World Music - Aqua Vitae The points for James’ Moonbootica shoot them right up to be the 4th of 4 holders of that crown, as the Germans leap over the Londoners, and are joined at last in the top 3, after hovering just outside, by T.O.L.D. a London-based LA-living male musician. The Teen Titans: 1 32 Moonbootica - These days Are Gone (J⭐M E S) 2 28 >HALOS< - Dust 3 27 T.O.L.D. - Lucifer’s Eyes 4 25 TOPS - Outside 4 25 Cosmonaut Grechko - Anytime 4 25 Anna Of The North - Sway 7 24 The Preatures - Somebody’s Talking 8 21 Future World Music - Aqua Vitae 8 21 Dreamshow - 16 10 18 Lydia Ainsworth - Malachite 11 17 Hundred Waters - Murmurs 12 16 r.e.l. - Plateau 13 15 Yasmine Hamdan - Deny (Holmes Price Remix) 14 13 Lone - Meeker Warm Energy 15 12 GOAT - Hide From The Sun 16 10 Azedia - Thunder & Lightning 17 8 Ghosts - Wlvs 18 7 Lane 8 - The One (featuring Patrick Baker) 18 7 Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjaerg - Taepet er Faldet 20 5 BEA - We’re Like The Hard Born 20 5 Indi and The Vegas - Out Da House (jsilv) 22 4 Zoot Woman - Don’t Tear Yourself Apart 23 3 Eisblume - Eisblumen (Radio Mix) (Gooddelta) 24 2 The Radio Dept. - Death To Fascism 24 2 Emerson Jay - Fighting Finding The Teeny Titans: Ephera - Alaska The Runaways - Cherry Bomb (Popchartfreak) Klaves - People Pizeta - Remedios (Ramon Tapia and Stavroz Remix) Secede - Leraine (featuring Kettel) JMR - Doesn’t Feel Human Yes, it’s poor old me and 5 others still waiting for some love. Please! Anyone! On a happier note, Cosmonaut Grechko shoots up to 4 and Lydia Ainsworth up to 10, while 3 happy winners avoid that duck and get some points: Yasmine, jsilv’s Indi and Kirstine. 4 votes in and everything is close nobody streaking ahead. |

Oh dear, 'Eisblumen' was my least favourite of the songs, don't think this is the first time Rich's song has come dead last for me. Eep.

Our next visit it to the Home of The Wombat, Chez? Currently in fourth place with the GORGEOUS Anytime from Cosmonaut Grechko - I do hope everyone has the same affection for spacemen that I do...! 20; Ephera - Alaska 15; TOPS – Outside 12; T.O.L.D – Lucifer’s Eyes 10; Future World Music – Aqua Vitae 08; The Radio Dept. – Death to Fascism 07; BEA – We’re Like The Hard Born 06; Ghosts – WLVS 05; GOAT – Hide From The Sun 04; Dreamshow – 16 03; Azedia – Thunder & Lightning 02; The Preatures – Somebody’s Talking 01; Eisblume - Eisblumen Yay, some points for Alaska, and 20 of ‘em no less! How does that shake up the ol’ scoreboard? Superman Songs: 1 40 TOPS - Outside 2 39 T.O.L.D. - Lucifer’s Eyes 3 32 Moonbootica - These days Are Gone (J⭐M E S) 4 31 Future World Music - Aqua Vitae 5 28 >HALOS< - Dust 6 26 The Preatures - Somebody’s Talking 7 25 Cosmonaut Grechko - Anytime (Chez Wombat) 7 25 Anna Of The North - Sway 7 25 Dreamshow - 16 10 20 Ephera - Alaska 11 18 Lydia Ainsworth - Malachite 12 17 Hundred Waters - Murmurs 12 17 GOAT - Hide From The Sun 14 16 r.e.l. - Plateau 15 15 Yasmine Hamdan - Deny (Holmes Price Remix) 16 14 Ghosts - Wlvs 17 13 Lone - Meeker Warm Energy 17 13 Azedia - Thunder & Lightning 19 12 BEA - We’re Like The Hard Born 20 10 The Radio Dept. - Death To Fascism 21 7 Lane 8 - The One (featuring Patrick Baker) 21 7 Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjaerg - Taepet er Faldet 23 5 Indi and The Vegas - Out Da House (jsilv) 24 4 Zoot Woman - Don’t Tear Yourself Apart 24 4 Eisblume - Eisblumen (Radio Mix) (Gooddelta) 26 2 Emerson Jay - Fighting Finding Clark Kent Tunes The Runaways - Cherry Bomb (Popchartfreak) Klaves - People Pizeta - Remedios (Ramon Tapia and Stavroz Remix) Secede - Leraine (featuring Kettel) JMR - Doesn’t Feel Human TOPS go back up on top, with T.O.L.D. hitting a new peak of 2, the pair of them getting a small break with the Top 10 pack, who all have 20 points or over as Ephera enter at 10. Conveniently the 20 also have 10 points or over. Dear oh dear though, spare a thought for alter-ego meek mild-mannered superheroes in waiting The Runaways (sob! It’s in a blockbuster for pity’s sake!), Klaves, Pizeta, Secede and JMR - though the last 4 sound more like super-villains, so I’m guessing that’s why they remain unloved.... |

Yas Ephera. Get that 20 ~
Didn't have 'Anytime' pegged as a Chez entry! Very good song. I have absolutely no recollection of that TOPS song but my song ranking indicates I wasn't a fan. Hm. |

Next - 6th voter take a step forward. Thank you FrankLuck, and it’s British electronic band Zoot Woman, and the frantically fab Don’t Tear Yourself Apart, currently unfairly residing in 24th place. Over to you Frank... “ These are my votes for UP 18: 020 points Ghosts - Wlvs 015 points Azedia - Thunder & Lightning 012 points Moonbootica - These Days Are Gone 010 points The Radio Dept. - Death To Fascism 008 points Klaves - People 007 points T.O.L.D. - Lucifer’s Eyes 006 points GOAT - Hide From The Sun 005 points Lydia Ainsworth - Malachite 004 points The Preatures - Somebody’s Talking 003 points Eisblume - Eisblumen (Radio Mix) 002 points Dreamshow - 16 001 points Future World Music - Aqua Vitae Predictions for my top 5: Ghosts: 6; Azedia: 10; Moonbootica: 24; The Radio Dept.: 3; Klaves: 12 (my first guess was 4, I'm really not sure about this one) My entry: 26 (yes, I still think I can do better than dead last! ) Thanks for organizing this great contest, WLVS is a gem and some of the bests made my playlist. Good luck everyone, may the best entry (WLVS) win! FrankLuck” So let’s see how that stacks up with the other 5 voters: Batman Songs: 1 46 T.O.L.D. - Lucifer’s Eyes 2 44 Moonbootica - These days Are Gone (J⭐M E S) 3 40 TOPS - Outside 4 34 Ghosts - Wlvs 5 32 Future World Music - Aqua Vitae 6 30 The Preatures - Somebody’s Talking 7 28 >HALOS< - Dust 7 28 Azedia - Thunder & Lightning 9 27 Dreamshow - 16 10 25 Cosmonaut Grechko - Anytime (Chez Wombat) 10 25 Anna Of The North - Sway 12 23 Lydia Ainsworth - Malachite 12 23 GOAT - Hide From The Sun 14 20 Ephera - Alaska 14 20 The Radio Dept. - Death To Fascism 16 17 Hundred Waters - Murmurs 17 16 r.e.l. - Plateau 18 15 Yasmine Hamdan - Deny (Holmes Price Remix) 19 13 Lone - Meeker Warm Energy 20 12 BEA - We’re Like The Hard Born 21 8 Klaves - People 22 7 Lane 8 - The One (featuring Patrick Baker) 22 7 Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjaerg - Taepet er Faldet 22 7 Eisblume - Eisblumen (Radio Mix) (Gooddelta) 25 5 Indi and The Vegas - Out Da House (jsilv) 26 4 Zoot Woman - Don’t Tear Yourself Apart (Frankluck) 27 2 Emerson Jay - Fighting Finding Robin songs (the 2nd, dead version): The Runaways - Cherry Bomb (Popchartfreak) Pizeta - Remedios (Ramon Tapia and Stavroz Remix) Secede - Leraine (featuring Kettel) JMR - Doesn’t Feel Human T.O.L.D. you so, at 1 after climbing 4, 4, 3, 2, 1 - that’s pretty consistent but can they keep it up, as there’s nothing much between James’ Moonbootica back up at 2, and TOPS at 3. Big climbs into the top 10 for Ghosts and Azedia, and new at 21 it’s Klaves, lifting themselves up from the now-short Roll-Call Of Shame, headed by Yours Truly. Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Cherry Bombed! |

I knew T.O.L.D. would always be high up. It was the only one that screamed "obvious winner" to me.
Others that could win are Lydia Ainsworth, Azedia, >HALOS< and Ghosts (in my opinion). |

Let’s see if I get any points. Next up is Titty, and his entry is Lone, aka a Nottingham lad, just down the road from my birthplace. Currently resting in 19th, how will Lone fare after the points? 020 points GOAT - Hide From The Sun 015 points Secede - Leraine (featuring Kettel) 012 points Zoot Woman - Don’t Tear Yourself Apart 010 points Lane 8 - The One (featuring Patrick Baker) 008 points The Radio Dept. - Death To Fascism 007 points Yasmine Hamdan - Deny (Holmes Price Remix) 006 points Anna Of The North - Sway 005 points Pizeta - Remedios (Ramon Tapia and Stavroz Remix) 004 points >HALOS< - Dust 003 points Ephera - Alaska 002 points TOPS - Outside 001 points The Preatures - Somebody’s Talking Suddenly it’s a 4-horse race as 20 points for GOAT brings them into the top 3 and adds a new country to the list of top 3‘ers: Sweden! Green Lantern Corps: 1 46 T.O.L.D. - Lucifer’s Eyes 2 44 Moonbootica - These days Are Gone (J⭐M E S) 3 43 GOAT - Hide From The Sun 4 42 TOPS - Outside 5 34 Ghosts - Wlvs 6 32 Future World Music - Aqua Vitae 6 32 >HALOS< - Dust 8 31 The Preatures - Somebody’s Talking 8 31 Anna Of The North - Sway 10 28 Azedia - Thunder & Lightning 10 28 The Radio Dept. - Death To Fascism 12 27 Dreamshow - 16 13 25 Cosmonaut Grechko - Anytime (Chez Wombat) 14 23 Lydia Ainsworth - Malachite 14 23 Ephera - Alaska 16 22 Yasmine Hamdan - Deny (Holmes Price Remix) 17 17 Hundred Waters - Murmurs 17 17 Lane 8 - The One (featuring Patrick Baker) 19 16 r.e.l. - Plateau 19 16 Zoot Woman - Don’t Tear Yourself Apart (Frankluck) 21 15 Secede - Leraine (featuring Kettel) 22 13 Lone - Meeker Warm Energy (Titty) 23 12 BEA - We’re Like The Hard Born 24 8 Klaves - People 25 7 Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjaerg - Taepet er Faldet 25 7 Eisblume - Eisblumen (Radio Mix) (Gooddelta) 27 5 Indi and The Vegas - Out Da House (jsilv) 27 5 Pizeta - Remedios (Ramon Tapia and Stavroz Remix) 29 2 Emerson Jay - Fighting Finding Rusty Lantern, cor!: The Runaways - Cherry Bomb (Popchartfreak) JMR - Doesn’t Feel Human There’s no change to the top 2, The Radio Dept go top 10, while Yasmine, Lane 8 and Zoot Woman pop into the top 20. More importantly, 2 more pointless contestants hit the charts at 21 and 27, leaving poor ol’ JMR and Joan Jett & co languishing in shame. Will anyone give ‘em a kiss? |

Great to see Moonbootica so well received in here. Glad it's been a good discovery for some folks here thus far. x I didn't know 'These Days Are Gone', although I know many of their other stuff - and I think this is the best from them, I like it a lot! And yes, I'm shite at predicting anything... |

Also, I'd be disappointed if Bre didn't vote for me. It would keep up the run in both this and BJSC going for months!

Any of those would be great winners! Lone's song was one of only 2 songs I knew that I knew already before the contest (the other was 'Murmurs' but on listening I realised I'd heard 'Alaska' already as well, as a BJSC potential IIRC). Good choice titty! Hoping 'Meeker Warm Energy' can pick up a bit from where it is now. |
