QUOTE
“Last summer we got to experience a glimpse of our previous lives and we loved it! 15 years later with no rehearsals and nervous as ever we took to the stage in the middle of Trafalgar Square where the atmosphere in London was alive, as England came together to support the final of Euro2020. It was enough to light the fire between us and we can’t wait to see what new memories we can make 2022”

A more longer term comeback from Tash, Liz and Jenny seems to be happening, hopefully a tour announcement? cheeseblock.png

No Kerry, no dice.

But in all seriousness - I can't see this going well for them beyond the football song. They were very much a group that people listened casually too but really didn't have a huge fanbase. If Big Reunion couldn't lead to bigger things, I don't see them being able to launch new non-novelty music off this either.

This is good news, they did well with the football song by going top 20 and than god its Jenny and not Kerry.

The good news is that if England do well at the World Cup next year, Football's Coming Home won't be on ACR so could go Top 10! laugh.gif

I love them, I saw Liz and Natasha live at a festival in Newcastle earlier this year and they were one of the highlights, but very much up for seeing them with Jenny as I was never able to back in the day.

As much as I am a staunch Kerry lineup fan (for me, they released their best singles whilst she was in the band), played well this could probably do quite decently. Plus they'll have the whole Gareth Southgate thing to hang it on in terms of that "So who made the first call?" type questioning that they will get 🤣

Kerry Katona due to be taking part in a Facebook live event for the Daily Star on Friday.

No doubt we will hear her thoughts on this then. laugh.gif

I can see a Greatest Hits released around the time of the World Cup. They'd most likely be keen to capitalise on the hype if it's anything similar to Euro's this year.

They were always hit or miss for me but hopefully it goes well for them.

No doubt it will be negative from Kerry.
I would welcome the reunion to do well for the girls as I have enjoyed many of their releases.

Cool I think they could get a few pop festival appearances in the summer and maybe do a theatre tour. Imagine a repackaged greatest hits with the Southgate song on it could do well for them and if England do well in the World Cup, that song is going top 10, it would have done it had they won the Euro, it already has the hype from the beginning this time at least. They can plan a good promo trail based around the world cup and promote a new gh/album/tour based around that.

I think they would also be a great support act if Steps decide to do another tour for their 25 year celebrations ala Blue, Vengaboys, Sophie Ellis Bextor.
