Welcome To Round 18 of Least Fave Disney Animated Classic and the latest casualty is the ever brilliant "Tangled" which received 7 votes, and coming in with a close battle against "Frozen" which was only one vote behind. This marks the milestone as the 50th Disney Animated Feature released in 2010. Loosely based on the German fairytale of Rapunzel, this spent 6 years in production and ended up costing $260 Million to make, making this the most expensive animated feature ever made. The film earned rave reviews and grossed over $591 Million worldwide and won Best Original Song at the Oscars. This well and truly set Disney back on the right path to success after their last decade of struggling with a string of hit and misses.
As for the other results, with "Tangled" now out, "Frozen" is the only Disney movie left from this decade, but did come close to getting voted out with 6 votes. "Lady and the Tramp" scored 4 votes, while "Mulan" gained 3. "Sleeping Beauty" got 2 votes, while "Bambi", "Alice In Wonderland", "Peter Pan", "The Jungle Book" and "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame" each scored 1 vote each. 17th Tangled = 7 Votes Such an epic movie and since it's release it's become a firm fave of mine. Filled with lots of energy and humour this definitely has that classic Disney feel to it, as well as being modern enough for today's audience to enjoy. The lead characters are very decent Rapunzel herself is great and makes you really want to root for her as does the likeable rogue Flynn, their interactions worked really well together. But of course as always it's the supporting characters that steal the show, firstly the villain Mother Gothel was just a hell of a lot of fun and really twisted and manipulative and then there's the loveable bad tempered horse who totally steals every scene he's in. So on the whole a great story and so glad that Disney are well and truly back on track by making magic again. Okay then we are now down to just 16 Disney movies left, same rules apply just vote for your least fave by the next round which will be on 2nd January 2016 Results So Far 17th - Tangled = 7 Votes/25.93% 18th - Robin Hood = 11 Votes/36.67% 19th - Dumbo = 8 Votes/27.59% 20th - Cinderella = 5 Votes/22.73% 21st – Wreck It Ralph = 5 Votes/21.74% 22nd– Hercules = 9 Votes/39.13% 23rd - The Fox and the Hound = 5 Votes/22.73% 24th - Lilo & Stitch = 7 Votes/29.17% 25th - Pocahontas = 10 Votes/37.04% 26th - Tarzan = 8 Votes/28.57% 27th - Big Hero 6 = 4 Votes/15.38% 28th - The Princess and the Frog = 6 Votes/23.08% 29th - The Aristocats = 6 Votes/10.00% 30th - The Emperor's New Groove = 10 Votes/16.67% 31st - Bolt = 8 Votes/12.31% 32nd -The Sword In The Stone = 9 Votes/13.85% 33rd - Fantasia = 10 Votes/15.38% 34th - Winnie The Pooh (2011) = 6 Votes/11.76% 35th - Atlantis; The Lost Empire = 7 Votes/13.73% 36th - Brother Bear = 11 Votes/21.57% =38th Treasure Planet = 8 Votes/8.70% =38th Basil The Great Mouse Detective = 8 Votes/8.70% 39th - The Rescuers = 9 Votes/9.78% 40th - The Black Cauldron = 10 Votes/10.87% =42nd The Rescuers Down Under = 8 Votes/7.21% =42nd Oliver & Company = 8 Votes/7.21% 43rd - The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh = 9 Votes/8.11% 44th - Meet The Robinsons = 17 Votes/15.32% =46th Fantasia 2000 = 8 Votes/8.60% =46th Chicken Little = 8 Votes/8.60% 47th - Home On The Range = 9 Votes/9.68% 48th - The Adventures Of Ichabod Mr Toad = 10 Votes/10.75% 49th - The Three Cabarellos = 14 Votes/15.05% 50th - Dinosaur = 8 Votes/6.96% =53rd Fun & Fancy Free = 10 Votes/8.70% =53rd Make Mine Music = 10 Votes/8.70% =53rd Saludos Amigos = 10 Votes/8.70% 54th - Melody Time = 11 Votes/9.57% |

Gutted about that, Tangled is one of my favourite Disney movies ever The cast, characters, song and story are all pretty much perfect
Can we not get rid of Frozen next?! I love quite a lot of the New Disney movies so to have none in the top 15 would be awful |

My vote is between 'Frozen' and 'Peter Pan'.... 'Frozen' because it's the most recent and I haven't grown up with it, and 'Peter Pan' because I have the least connection with it.
Going for 'Peter Pan'. Josh where you at~ |

Yay finally someone else for Peter Pan, yay Bal! You made the right choice too because Frozen has way more likeable characters and good songs.

I will join you both in that I agree that I was always put off by the character's unlikeability (plus I've always got the sense that never growing up seems negative so idk how well he works as a protagonist), and the 2003 live adaptation was AWFUL (if anything, I sympathised with Hook, I know I'd certainly be a bit pissed off if some brat who cut my leg off taunted me daily!)

I also went for Pan without looking at the comments as that but with the Indians comes across so badly now that a large chunk of the film's uncomfortable for me too watch.

Pan is fun, lively, Frozen is like having 10 mars bars at once, so sweet it makes you feel a bit queezy sorry!

I went with Frozen. There was huge mania but it really isn't even as good as recent effort Big Hero 6 IMO.
