Fergie AND Gwen in the same day? Blimey, I really do feel like I've stepped back into 2006.

The title is "L.A. Love", not "LA. Love" (which made a lot more sense after reading the thread title). I'm looking forward to hearing this, pretty much every single from The Dutchess (I hate that spelling). I just hope radio get behind her this time as she is almost pushing 40 and we all know what that means to Radio 1.

Excited! Wasn't expecting something so soon. I was thinking early next year (Feb/March time)!

If it's anywhere near as good as this similarly titled song then I'm on board

A clip of this has leaked online and it is f***ing dire. For some reason I half expected it though .

Eek. Oh dear, it sounds shocking from the little clip! :/ It sounds really demo-y though so hopefully it's not the final version and the real final version sounds better!

Wow. Such a let down going by the clip and comparing it to her stuff from The Dutchess

It's not bad really, just very basic.

Actually (L.A.) love that artwork. Looking forward to hearing this song! Was actually thinking on my way home today, I think this and Gwen's new tracks will probably flop hard, I can't see Radio 1 having room for them sadly (yes, I know they're not the be and end all, but you know...).

I quite like the illustration but her dreadful logo and its placement just kills it for me
The song sounds far too repetitive and a bit dull, although I'll wait for the full thing before judging it properly! |

I don't get why The Dutchess is so much more highly praised than it used to be, for the most part that album was absolutely shit.

Well, that clip was quite shit, and that's putting it lightly.

The single has premiered/leaked in full now.
It's much better than I was expecting from the clip but it's still underwhelming. Standard DJ Mustard production and that chorus just isn't cutting it for me right now. Let's hope it GROWS. |

I do actually quite like this. It is quite sultry and the production is very what is in right now.
I just feel like it is a massive letdown seeing as she had so much time to something spectacular. That chorus is just so basic. Also I wish she would stop trying to sound like Iggy in the verses. This post has been edited by Davidson: 28th September 2014, 09:30 PM |

The verses are much better than the chorus. It does sound like a reject from "The New Classic", mind you.
And like Davidson said... You had THIS MUCH TIME. I was hoping for a 'Fergalicious' type of bop. |

So I'm pretty much on my own in absolutely loving this? Yeah it's not quite up to the standards she could have put out, but it's most certainly not disappointed me. It does feel a bit "promo single", but I just can't help but love it. She's so slick on the verses especially!
