(Madonna and Jonathan in 1995)

Madonna recorded her appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show today, which is rumoured to air on Saturday 14th March.

She performed to songs which are confirmed to be 'Living for Love' and rumoured second single 'Ghosttown'.

Just back from the Jonathan Ross taping.

The performances of living for love and ghosttown are incredible. She looked absolutely stunning.
She confirms that ghosttown is the second single and she sang this live !!!

Living for love was performed twice , ghosttown 3 (she forgot the words on one occasion)

They discussed the Brits , her kids, men, film directing (the usual things).

(Just moved your post into here now I've made an appropriate thread)

Does that mean you were in the audience? You're seeing a lot of Madonna lately! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for saying she's confirmed 'Ghosttown' as single #2. Fantastic choice which I expect will have a great video. How come she performed 'Living for Love' twice?

I'm no expert on Jonathon Ross shows but I expect they do a couple and pick the best one for TV, that's probably why she did Ghosttown three times if she forgot the words once laugh.gif

She can forget the words all she likes, just no more falls please cry.gif

Ah - I didn't see the 3 next to 'Ghosttown'! tongue.gif I could imagine 'Living for Love' will be used to open the show and 'Ghosttown' to close.

Yes I was in the audience . They repeat performances so both the artists and network are happy for it to be shown!

I can't express how amazing the performances were!! We will see a big climb In the iTunes Charts after this is aired!

did he ask her about her interview from 1992, the one where she talked about ageism???

Posted by: Joe. 28th February 2015, 10:47 AM

I read the interview and I really like what I'm hearing. sounds like she's handling the fall very well. I think this album will do really well.

Pictures of her appearance are surfing online:

No not really he did ask her about the sex book period , she said she didn't regret the book. He asked her what she thinks of today's female artists and she said she was happy to have opened the door for them.

Like u I expected him to refer back to the points made in the previous interview .

crap!!! that interview previewed everything is happening with the age thing, and she was really clear and smart!

Not feeling THE LOOK. It will probably undo a lot of the goodwill she has built up the last few days.

Don't forget to tune into this tonight on ITV at 9:20pm and to comment in here during/following the show!

Posted by: Josh. 14th March 2015, 06:24 PM

I'll definitely be watching, I'm actually getting really excited. Ross is a great chat show host so I'm hoping for the best. I hope the Ghosttown performance is lovely too (and there isn't a mix up where the time she forgot her words is shown laugh.gif)

I'm really excited for this special. Two of my favourite Madonna interviews are the Jonathan Ross ones during the Erotica and American Life eras; they have great chemistry together.

Assume she's the only guest tonight then? Can't stand the guy but will watch tonight of course.

Posted by: Joe. 14th March 2015, 07:16 PM

I'm really excited for this too. Can't wait to see the album hopefully jump up on iTunes too!

Yep - 'Living for Love' and 'Ghosttown'.

Loving this so far. Album already up a place on iTunes.

Posted by: liamk97 14th March 2015, 10:25 PM

Really enjoyable show! Some really interesting questions and insightful answers and the performances were great too - I liked the remix of 'Living for Love' and the choreography and 'Ghosttown' was perfection. wub.gif It's also hard to believe that Madonna is 56 as she looked gorgeous tonight!

I think she came across really warm and relaxed and it was a great showcase for the album. I loved the montage at the start. Iconic.

Oh yes, I love a good montage and this one really reminded you just how many great songs she has.

One of the best interviews and the saucy costume, quite a tease laugh.gif I also remember the interview with JR when he interviewed her on a bed laugh.gif

Her performance of Ghosttown was amazing, one of my favourite tracks on the album. I think Rebel Heart is really a strong album apart from the track with Nicki Minaj.

Posted by: Common Sense 15th March 2015, 07:42 AM

Good interview, really enjoyed it but the hour seemed to fly by. It's repeated tomorrow, Monday, at 10.40pm.

Posted by: liamk97 15th March 2015, 01:34 PM

2.68m tuned into the first airing last night - the highest figure of the series so far, no surprise.

Posted by: HausofFrasier 15th March 2015, 01:35 PM

Impressive figures ohmy.gif

I have yet to see it (flop fan, i was out last night </3). Sounds like it went down well, so i am excited to watch it!

I've just watched it. Which remix did she use for Living for Love?

Posted by: Simon. 15th March 2015, 03:43 PM

She came across so lovely wub.gif made me laugh a lot too!

Also, the music that plays behind her speech bit she did at the beginning of the BRITs is taken from Offer Nissim Living For Drama mix.
