I'm kinda worried about this album. 'Walk Me Home' and 'Hustle' are making no impression on me and I don't get the sense she has anything new to say or offer. The one thing you could never say about P!nk was that she was bland and I fear she's heading in that direction.

Knew everything would be announced/released yesterday when I wasn't here
 I tend not to take track list on until I actually hear the songs, I used to think barbies would be a similar song to stupid girls and how wrong was that. Really looking forward to the new album

Don't think this has been mentioned anywhere but I noticed the title track is on Spotify, randomly slotted between all the Beautiful Trauma singles.
Doesn't really do anything for me. |

 Starting to become excited for this now. And I start work late next Friday so I’m actually going to listen in full come midnight

I must admit I’m not feeling hyped yet. I was much more excited back in February but this is actually the first time I’ve been worried for a Pink album.
I do like what we’ve heard so far but I don’t think any of the tracks have been up there as Pink’s best. Admittedly I have played Walk Me Home a lot recently and am loving it but it’s not been on the same scale as the leads from previous albums. |

 None of the three songs so far have grabbed me at all, wish I had heard the Khalid collab before it got taken down as I love a bit of Khalid so hopefully that's one good song at least!

I quite like the Cash Cash one but it feels like it should be the kinda thing she released as a feature in between albums, not a track on her own album.
I'm intrigued for the album but as I've said already, nothing I've heard so far feels like a step forward from BT. |

Pink has always delivered strong lead singles but this is one of her weaker openings to a new album but enjoyable nonetheless.

I’ve heard that the album has leaked somewhere. Apparently it’s Pink’s most ballad heavy album and that Can We Pretend sticks out somewhat. I’m not sure I was expecting a ballad heavy album this time.
I’m starting to get a little hyped for Friday though, was on a Pink binge this morning. |

I was worried it would all be too 'modern' for my liking #grandma SO ready for this album now!

Strong, bold, but a bit repetitive, the track was written with Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds and Producer Jorgen Odegard. It provides a feisty start to a collection that runs the gamut from fun Pop jams such as this to moving emotional confessions. Creating a catchy blend between a club remix and an infectious Pop hit, “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime” utilizes vocal effects to spice up its ode to missing someone who is bad news. Somewhat conversely, the album’s first single/video, ballad “Walk Me Home,” goes for a more straightforward, vocal-anchored and soulful approach that layers a million different sounds to weave something that is an epic slam into the feels. If you see what’s hidden away, will you tell her that she’s crazy? Going for the candid and confessional, midtempo “My Attic” is a sweet moment that utilizes metaphor to dip into the secrets that we all hide in dusty, dark places. Meanwhile, “90 Days” blends an almost jazzy, soulful storytelling session with Pop effects to create a uniquely beautiful duet between P!nk and the talented Singer-Songwriter Wrabel. Flawless complements for one another, together the pair create a smoky, sultry track that tingles across the senses in all the very best ways. Acoustic guitar opens the titular “Hurts 2B Human,” a funkified ballad featuring another exceptional singer-songwriter, Khalid. The track almost sounds like a holdover from Beautiful Trauma, making this the perfect bridge between P!nk’s last album and this latest collection. One that flows flawlessly into the intelligent summer anthem, “Can We Pretend,” where P!nk picks up the beat much in thanks to the Electronic act Cash Cash. A desire to escape reality and make believe, here we pretend to like such unlikable things as the president while pretending that we’re still twenty-two and dancing on tables. The timeless “Courage” goes back to serious intensity and P!nk’s incomparable vocal prowess as she explores the idea of having the courage to make a change — be it on a personal or global scale. It’s a powerfully inspiring track that, though perfectly suited to 2019, is both timeless and universal. Next, acoustics open “Happy,” a deeply poignant glance at what it means to be happy and the mental hurdles that we create for ourselves. Julia co-wrote My Attic and Sia co-wrote Courage. The album is very consistent and has a lot of chill songs and ballads! Hustle and Can We Pretend are definitely the odd ones out. Courage sounds so much like a Sia song, as expected. Belt-y vocals and explosive chorus. (Hey Why) Miss You Sometime has a drop but it's more P!nk style than the Can We Pretend one. We Could Have It All is a classic rock-pop bop, very old style P!nk. Love Me Anyway, Circle Game and More are piano ballads. The Last Song Of Your Life is a guitar ballad. |

I feel like the build up to this album has been such a rollercoaster. I was so excited, and a little shocked, when she announced the album, loved walked me home...hustle was ok but not a favourite, and I felt disappointed by can we pretend and I started to think this album wouldn't be what I was expecting. But now, after reading the reviews, I'm so so ready for this album again. TWO DAYS!!!!!
But it kills me to know that the album is out there, people have heard it and are giving out reviews... and I don't have it yet
