ITZ is widely considered as her 2nd best album (even the very best by a LOT of people too) and it's home to 2 of her biggest hits, one of which is largely considered her defining hit, so it's really baffling how it's so low down the rankings of her orders! So bizarre. Also, for me, it looks like the best pressing cheeseblock.png

#22 for In the Zone isn't that low, she's just got too many albums. It could really use the boost though as it's not that far off from 2x Platinum. Hopefully we get some re-entries!

Agreed! I wish it got as much recognition as Blackout from casual fans. But at least it has her biggest song on it!

For some reason on Amazon UK, Baby, Oops and Britney aren't displayed with the vinyl mock up designs anymore. In the case of Oops it's showing completely wrong artwork...

I got my copy of 'Britney' today!

Well, apart from some very minor changes on the back cover (the fact it states it's printed in Europe, has a different barcode and has the Sony Music logo printed), it is pretty much the exact same as the Urban Outfitters versions, in terms of overall quality. That is to say, slightly on the thin and flimsy side with the outer card sleeve and inner thin paper sleeves... but with above decent reproductions of the photographs used so that it looks good overall (there are considerably worse re-issues out there than the Britney ones, I'll say that!). On 'Britney' they haven't even amended the error on the vinyl's labels - where it says "2001/2009" rather than "2001/2019" (that's another thing, they've not updated the text to say 2023 anywhere on this release). Obviously the actual colour of the vinyl itself are different to the originals, that really is the main difference.

I've seen from 'Baby' and 'Oops' online that they're practically the same as the original releases too. For instance, Baby uses an inner blank/white record sleeve to store the vinyl in and a separate square sheet with printed credits, which is unlike all the other Britney albums where there is a printed sleeve to slot the vinyl into. So the label has kept these specific designs for years [Baby One More Time's first pressing came out in 2017]. I'd wondered whether they'd ever change Baby One More Time's inner design to match how the others are done, but evidently not!

I'd be interested to know why it's taken as long as 2023 for Europe to get these produced. I'm guessing there was some sort of length of time that Urban Outfitters were granted exclusivity and it only recently finished?

I bought Britney because my previous two copies both have problems (original yellow = sounds bad / clear = off centre labels). My new copy isn't perfect either, it's a bit warped, I've got to push the record down rather than it just slotting into place... so that's a bit of a shame, but I played it and overall it sounded good, better than my previous two at least, so I guess I'm satisfied enough to keep it. I'm not sure if it's just the case that I'm continually unlucky with this album or if lots of them end up being warped. thinking.gif

I hope these remain stocked, I'd like to build up the collection with them but spending money on vinyls is low on my list of things to buy at the moment!

...Baby is obviously legendary, but Toxic surpassed it a long time ago!

I caved and bought a vinyl player lmao. Just a cheap one, but I couldn't not get SOMETHNG.

My problem now is... I've missed all my favourite Taylor vinyl variants lmao. I'll have Britney's. But I will start getting Taylor and Little Mix at some point, but everything else will have to be either special edition limited releases or really cheap sale ones lol.

I decided to request a replacement copy of 'Britney' from Amazon, and that will be arriving later today. I'm determined to have a copy of this which doesn't have any problems! laugh.gif Fingers crossed for fourth time lucky...

I also bought '...Baby One More Time' and that's coming later too! My 2017 copy of that album is actually pressed off-centre. Somehow that had slipped my mind until I got the album out yesterday and noticed it looking weird when it's spinning on the player. I must have just accepted it as it was back in 2017, because it had sold out during pre-order and there was no way to get a replacement of it anyway. Apparently it's not good for the stylus to play an off-centre record, so I guess I shouldn't. Hopefully my new 2023 vinyl has no problems!
