I'm sure they'll be there... So she has been working in this 3rd album since January, not rushed this time. I am glad, as I quite liked '3 Words', although there was a lot of filler and the follow up was lazy and rushed, not a single song that I listen to nowadays. I would like to have a good pop album from Cheryl, as '3 Words' did show some promise, despite it being a bit fillerish. I think she can do it this time, now she isn't rushed off her feet. |

QUOTE Cheryl Cole will return to the public eye with her first music in nearly two years later this month, it has been claimed today.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, Chezza is set to release her first music from her third album in March. “Cheryl’s almost finished her third album and she’s confident it’s her best by far,” a source blabbed to the newspaper. “She’s just putting the finishing touches to it before a release date is scheduled. “But the plan is to have a single out by spring, possibly as early as March.” The record, the third solo release from the Girls Aloud star, will feature work from will.i.am and Taio Cruz. “She’s really taken her time for this one and feels so positive about the music,” the insider added. Going by that it sounds like she's gone for a re-hash of 3 Words, hopefully she hasn't used leftovers of that era like she blatantly did for the second album.

^ "will feature work from will.i.am and Taio Cruz".
Hopefully all involved will have upped their game this time. |

But on 3 Words there was only 1 song from Taio, and "Break Your Heart" wasn't included because the head of Polydor thought it was too similar to Heartbreaker... Yes, I know about all of that. Remember it's not me who's fearing it'll be a rehash, I'm just posting what I presume is the thought process behind the rehash comment. They're two artists who made up more than 50% of her debut album, even though it was mainly will.i.am and just one Taio song.

Cheryl has followed Calvin Harris whilst in L.A. - is he working on the album?! Seriously can't wait to hear some results now. Roll on first single.

Cheryl Cole to debut new single on 'The Voice'?
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/s154/the...-the-voice.html Surprise surprise! It was always going to happen when will.i.am was made a coach! |

Cheryl always gets such great promotion and big tv shows which i believe have been the main contribution to her success. I dont think her material is any better than Nicola Roberts or Nadine Coyle but unfortunatly Cheryl has a far better marketing and promotion team behind her which has resulted in her outselling her band members. Her popularity seemed to have wained for her 2nd album and considering she has been out of the press for a while now and no longer has X Factor exposure i do think the 3rd album could possibly sell less than her 2nd.

This will be her "come-back" though. Having not released anything since The Flood in January 2011. I think it will be all over everywhere when she releases the first single from the album.

Will she sustain it though after the lead single? Cheryl managed it very well with the first album but the complete opposite for the second album.

I think they should have at least tried with a third single, there was no reason not to, Yeah Yeah or Everyone would have probably done better than The Flood. Hopefully they'll do at least 3 singles for this album.

Hopefully they'll do at least 3 singles for this album. There was a reason she stopped promoting in December, she wasn't ok. One of the producers of Everyone said on twitter Cheryl wasn't in a good mental place (and then he deleted the tweet but fans managed to capture it). I don't think they should have forced her to reappear that soon after she got ill but I guess some people have different priorities and it's money > health This post has been edited by Carlos V: 2nd February 2012, 11:55 PM |
