Who See 'Igranka' Yassss one of the most fabulous and extravagant entries to have come out of Eurovision of recent times. Slay. Painful DNQ was expected but it didn't make the pain less severe Look at that run of 12's <3 Even Valentina or Kristina didn't slay like that! Ryan and gooddelta being so non mainstream they went against the grain. How pedestrian~ Only one song matched Who See's record from the previous heats. And before I continue I should say that the results are REALLY close in the remaining 3 countries. There was less than 6 points between 2nd and 3rd places in ALL of them. And on one occasion a TIE decided if the song qualified or not. |

Shiri Maimon 'HaSheket SheNish'ar' Another female from Israel through. Now it's the 4th from 2005. 2005 has become really popular here. The entire Top 5 apart from Romania (TBA) has so far qualified. Even though Shiri Maimon was literally quite beige on stage, the song was not. She served those vocal teas and placed in the deserved Top 5 and actually the last Top 5 the country had since 10 years ago. Quite a sad fact given they were on quite a roll since then entries-wise. Oh well, there's always next year. Tel-Aviv 2016? *crosses toes for Nadav* Poor Boaz It's like you don't even care he's HAWT anymore :'( |

Evelina Sašenko 'C'est ma vie' C'EST MA-AH-AH VIERRE The amount of times people used 'It's My Life' as a title is quite surprising. That's probably why she decided to go all bad-french on us. It worked and Lithuania qualified that year but placed pretty low. 2011 was a shit year overall so it's not like the standards were HIGH. And let's get the remaining qualifier out of the way because I don't want to waste another separate post for this shitty Eurovision country. LTHQ02 Laura & The Lovers 'Little By Little' idgi The results were ALL OVER THE PLACE especially for the first half of the voting. It's all calmed down to the end but really this is NOT how the heat results should look like! |

I decided to extend the minimum amount of entries required to have two qualifiers from the country. Since, coincidentally, I have Bulgaria with 9 entries and Moldova with 10 entries in two of the last 4 heats that were supposed to have only 6 qualifiers instead of the usual 7, I am extending the minimum to 9 entries. Only Moldova an Bulgaria have 9 or 10 entries so they are the only countries affected by the change. This way we'll have 84 entries in the Semifinals with 7 qualifiers from each of the 12 heats. (yay ocd)
I wanted to do WILDCARDS but it's too hard to determine them fairly given some countries only have 10 entries so all songs will be scoring at least a few points anyway, while other countries have 20 entries. Next heat with NETHERLANDS, CROATIA, ARMENIA and BULGARIA coming shortly. |

My votes wouldn't really have changed anything anyway, but I couldn't bring myself to vote though given across all 4 countries I like a total of 6 songs.
