Nuggets 12 5th placers (though would've been 2nd without the deduction!) Working Men's Club have a self-titled debut album out on October 2nd! It was originally going to be released on June 5th :/

Three songs have been released so far: "A.A.A.A.", "White Rooms and People" and "Teeth" and they're all really good! On the original release date, they also released a 'megamix' of reworked versions of album tracks - https://www.megamix.workingmensclub.net/

Tracklisting:

1. Valleys
2. A.A.A.A.
3. John Cooper Clarke
4. White Rooms and People
5. Outside
6. Be My Guest
7. Tomorrow
8. Cook a Coffee
9. Teeth
10. Angels

Love them! I've had their vinyl on pre-order for ages now as I've really enjoyed everything they've released to date. I hope they can live up to the early promise happy.gif

“White Rooms and People” is really good, the riff always gets stuck in my head and has been the soundtrack to a lot of my lockdown !

Yeah another big fan here. I like Teeth last year but the two singles they've released this year are both brilliant, listened to their first single Bad Blood recently a lot too. Very much looking forward to the album.

Only heard them when I think I saw them on the 6 Music playlist and then I think they may have been on radio 1s introducing track one week? This song sounds quite good though as DB says regarding the guitar riff.

Really liking Valleys, and a whole EP released with a bonus track! (not on the album), 'Golden' which is also very solid.

1. Valleys
2. Valleys (Instrumental)
3. Valleys (Confidence Man Remox)
4. Valleys (Graham Massey Mix)
5. Valleys (Graham Massey Mix - Instrumental)
6. Valleys (Graham Massey Acid Mix)
7. Golden (Bonus Track)

Valleys might go on to be my favourite of theirs, really enjoying it being a bit longer.

The full 6 minute version is fantastic. Like New Order if they were still at their peak!

Thought this was great listening this morning, Angels was superb at 12 minutes long. Can see it being an album I listen to a lot. Looking forward to receiving the neon yellow vinyl *.*

Not an album I thought I would add to my library but meaning to listen at least this week, went for Róisín Murphy for my new music Friday streaming which was also quite nice disco heaven!

I'm still loving this album, found myself going back to it time and again. It's definitely my favourite debut of the year.

I was just reading an interview and I can't believe their frontman Syd is only 19! (so I'll presume the others are of a similar age lol), they have a very bright future ahead of them.

I'm sure one of them was in Drenge so imagine he's quite a few years older.

I love it. They definitely need to re-release “Teeth” though, it's one of my favourites now but for some reason when it was originally released (August 2019) I only charted it at #36. What a BANGER!
