If R1 won’t playlist the song, hopefully R2 will

Radio 2 generally play the CIN song! Be interesting to see if the John Lewis song is ignored again!

Poor architects, only getting 2 weeks on the C-List. I can't remember the last time a song was on the playlist for the short amount of time: Maybe Bon Ivor?

The last song to get booted off after 2 weeks was Artists for Grenfell back in June. But if we ignore charity singles then it was Mabel, 'Finders Keepers' originally spent 2 weeks on the C-list in April (which I'd actually forgotten about!)

Thanks, I'd actually forgotten about that Artists for Grenfell song. And I presume the Mabel release was cancelled then causing them to take it off the playlist

Strange that Mabel would be cancelled after it was released at the end of May and then pushed 6 months later!

they must have decided to wait for her to take off on Spotify first before giving the song a proper radio push. great strategy by the way, no one seemed to take notice of it back in May but got popular once added to the Spotify playlists.

So do they pay to be added to the playlists?
