Really looking forward to hearing this if it does surface!

I completely misread that as "Sigma and Paloma Faith" until I clicked into the thread.
VERY excited by the prospect of this!
Posted by: BridgeCow Feb 14 2018, 07:09 PM
YES hyped for this, Her voice would work so well on a Sigala production omg
Posted by: danG Feb 14 2018, 07:12 PM
Oh yay great to see Sigma working with Paulina again as that was their last great single... was my first thought too.
Yes Sigala tho, been too long since CHFL.

Saw your post and was still confused until I looked back at what the title of the thread is - made the same mistake
Paloma does sound good on a dance record so I'm excited! Hopefully it's not retreading where 'Changing' has already been but I won't get my hopes up.

It's called Lubally. Joint single as well.

Ahh I don't see that collab working, sounds too far fetched

Posted by: Midge Feb 14 2018, 09:22 PM
Cant wait for this!
Posted by: gavindeejay Feb 14 2018, 09:41 PM
Hope this is going to be amazing!
Posted by: Bjork Feb 14 2018, 09:45 PM
sure it's a joint single? Sigala's name comes first and it's like in bold and much bigger than hers

It'll be a joint single in the same way as Came Here For Love I expect. It's Sigala's single, but using the & credit means greater exposure on Paloma's Spotify page. It's a marketing tactic.
Posted by: mdh Feb 14 2018, 09:50 PM
that artwork is stunning
Posted by: lewistgreen Feb 14 2018, 09:57 PM
omg I am so ready for this
Posted by: Theo. Feb 14 2018, 10:40 PM
Omg YAS Paloma going for those top ten hits *.* I've hated everything apart from "Came Here for Love" by Sigala but obvs that was his(?) most recent so something even better than that would be perfect!
Posted by: HarryEzra Feb 14 2018, 11:21 PM
Hype for this and I LOVE the artwork
Posted by: jase. Feb 14 2018, 11:22 PM

Nah they've just used the usual logo for Sigala and the current one for Paloma.

And the title

Christ only on Buzzjack would people be SO hung up about who is credited in which order on a song
Hyped anyway, Came Here For Love was one of the best songs of last year and Changing showed that Paloma's voice is amazing on dance songs *.*

I don't think anyone cares about the order, it's more the confusion of whether this is also a single for Paloma or not.
There's a couple of ways people utilise the & credit these days. Sometimes it's genuinely a joint single (e.g. Kendrick Lamar & SZA), but often these days we're seeing it used instead of "feat." (Zedd & Alessia Cara, Kygo & Selena Gomez), because the song will therefore appear as the "newest release" at the top of both artists' Spotify pages This one seems to be the latter, much like Came Here For Love.

Excited for this although it does make me think that Sigala has to revert to using only big name features to get a hit (obviously Ella & Paloma aren’t huge but still enough to draw more people in). Looking forward to dance Paloma, she was amazing on Changing so hopefully this is just as great
Posted by: cqmerqn Feb 22 2018, 03:59 PM
This is AWFUL..
It’s like a mix between Anton Powers’ & Pixie Lott’s ‘Baby’ and Martin Jensen’s ‘Solo Dance’.

Oh that sounds amazing!
I loved 'Baby'
Posted by: cqmerqn Feb 22 2018, 04:11 PM
Yes Baby was one of the best songs of 2017.
What I meant was that it’s an awful mashup of Baby and Solo Dance.
Posted by: lewistgreen Feb 22 2018, 06:49 PM
Oh my this is great! Paloma sounds fab. Great summery production from Sigala
Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn Feb 22 2018, 07:12 PM
I'm not overly impressed on the first listen.
If I'm honest I was really hoping for a clone of 'Came Here For Love' with Paloma's vocal on it. It's like a less joyous and upbeat version of his usual sound with like cqmerqn said, the elements of what made 'Solo Dance' quite risible (and that's the first time he's been right about something).
It may grow, though.
Posted by: Liаm Feb 23 2018, 12:08 AM
Yeah I can really hear Baby and Solo Dance, I like both of those songs so that's not bad but I expected more.
Posted by: BridgeCow Feb 23 2018, 12:13 AM
This isn’t hitting me on first listen but I think it’ll grow and I’m definitely hearing Baby which isn’t a bad thing tbh
Posted by: Midge Feb 23 2018, 01:04 AM
I enjoyed this on first listen though I've already forgotten how it went 15 minutes later.
Posted by: Simon. Feb 23 2018, 07:25 AM
Loved this on first listen! Hope it’ll do well.
Posted by: Cameron Feb 23 2018, 10:02 AM
Really liking this on first listen.
Posted by: Bjork Feb 23 2018, 10:15 AM
nice but not really an earworm, listened like 5 times already and cannot recall it
Posted by: Tombo Feb 23 2018, 10:48 AM
I couldn't really get into this.
Posted by: danG Feb 23 2018, 10:53 AM
It's nice. Doesn't hit as much as 'Came Here For Love' but it'll do and I'll probably end up loving it anyway.
Posted by: Jüpiter Feb 23 2018, 03:24 PM
Unfortunately on first listen I don't like this as much as I'd hoped. It's alright and I'll be playing it anyway, but it doesnt GO OFF the way most Sigala tracks or Paloma's Sigma collab did.
Posted by: Dexton Feb 25 2018, 04:19 AM
I’m liking this although both have done better. Does anyone else think Paloma doesn’t really sound like Paloma for most of the song? Apart from the bridge (where she sounds really great and very Paloma-y) I don’t think I’d recognise her voice here if not for already knowing she’s on it
Posted by: Bjork Feb 25 2018, 09:50 AM
yes, I also thought someone else was singing the 1st verse
Posted by: Midge Feb 25 2018, 10:02 AM
I can hear Paloma myself, though the strength of her voice isn't so prominent with the production behind it.
Posted by: The Snake Feb 27 2018, 10:27 AM
Don't like it much, generic. Can tropical house please go finally!
Posted by: Midge Feb 27 2018, 10:32 AM
The more I hear this the more I like it actually!
Posted by: Cameron Feb 28 2018, 03:12 PM
Posted by: _jase Feb 28 2018, 11:49 PM
Generic but it's a banger! Paloma sounds amazing on songs like this
Posted by: Dobbo Mar 4 2018, 07:15 PM
This is really... unspectacular. Probs his worst single to date.
Posted by: SGrey Mar 4 2018, 07:38 PM
This is such an earworm and I am pleased shes featuring on another track outside of her comfort genre! I'm glad it is on her tour setlist as I feel this would be brilliant live

Co written by Jess Glynne and JinJin
A REJECT from her 2nd album
Posted by: danG Mar 5 2018, 10:23 PM
If Jess Glynne's rejects are this good just imagine how good her own material is going to be come on Jess we're tired of waiting!

I think I've given this about 10 listens now, and I still don't like it any more than I did on the first listen. It's just crud. :/

I can confirm it sounds a lot better accompanied by 36°C sunshine rather than -4°C with snow.

A writing credit does not make it a reject
This is growing a lot, very catchy and Paloma elevates it as expected!
Posted by: Juliano Mar 8 2018, 12:03 AM
I love this! Huge fan of Paloma's and hearing her on another dance track is very refreshing!
Posted by: Jüpiter Mar 8 2018, 12:07 AM
Great video except why has she brought back one of Jessie J's castoff costumes?? Song really catchy though and would sound way better too if we had some sun!
Posted by: Midge Mar 8 2018, 02:10 AM
I can confirm it sounds amazing in the sun

That’s the problem with Sigala I think Everything he (?) releases is very summer sounding, no matter what time of the year

Not a problem though for someone who lives down under really
I do think it'll take off in the UK when the sun starts to shine though.

Seems to be on the way already though, I could see it challenging for top 10 officially in a couple of weeks.
