This would be a suitable time for the Bundesliga to be declared over for the season; Hertha have climbed to the top (at least for a few hours) after beating Borussia Monchengladbach today.

With half of the teams playing one more game than the other half? What a bizarre end that would be! 4-2 though, sounds like it was a great game!

Bayern will almost certainly get their win this evening against Schalke (without a point so far this season), and normal service will resume.

Why worry about minor details like that? tongue.gif

Borussia never just lose. We concede either 0-1 goals or 4-6. drama.gif if Hertha were any good at hitting the back of the net they’d have been 5 up in the first half.

Plea missed a f***ing sitter at 3-2. Ship the useless f*** back to France

Apart from the result, what was the game like for you when you went to see it?

Sure enough, Bayern did win and are two points clear at the top once again with their 100% winning start so far.

And yeah, good question - sounds like Hertha-Gladbach was far from dull!

Result aside it was a decent game. At times it was real end to end stuff. Both teams are good on the counter. Only downside is that it felt like Gladbach didn’t turn up until the 60th minute and then had departed again by the 70th. Unusually, they were outpaced. Work to do but Hertha look good and full of confidence. I’d wager they end up in a Euros spot by the end of the year

Hertha have challenged for a Champions League place several times in the last decade or so before blowing it at the end of the season. It'll be interesting to see whether they can change that this season.

Gosh how bad an amatuer were the FIFA awards?

Salah winning best goal despite it probably being the worst and he also scored WAY better goals last year. Salah nominated for Best Player but does not make the World XI. Courtious wins best keeper but does not get in the World XI.. absolutely mind boggling laugh.gif

They make about as much sense as the OCC.

Not even sure why Courtois won the best keeper anyway, hardly set the world alight at Chelsea last season.

And the goal one was ridiculous, I couldn't even remember that one - surly his one against Spurs was 10x better (though I still would have given it to Bale easily).

And that was how it finished!! Huge result for Hertha. They’ve had a really great start to the year and they’re really enjoyable to watch. As hard as getting beaten 4-2 was it was a brilliant match as both sides were playing some great football

And they both drew today. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope for someone else.

So Sevilla are now only one point behind Barca & Real!

And thanks to the Bayern defeat, Borussia Dortmund go to the top of the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, in France Ligue 1 is not so close with PSG winning all eight of their games so far.

Similarly, Juventus beating Napoli last night has put them six points clear at the top of Serie A after just seven games.

Not a single Bayern player in the top 5 scorers list AND Gladbach are in 4th just 3 points behind the other Borussia. I’m living for the Bundesliga this year
