Top 40 Chart Commentary

Offaiah spends a fifth week at #1 even with strong competition from Calvin Harris who spends another week at #2. Mark Knight is creeping up too with 'Yebisah' up to #3 this week. Gryffin keeps on climbing with 'Whole Heart' which is up to #5. The other top 10 entry comes from The Weeknd who climbs 8 places to #10 with 'Starboy'.

Tchami is back with 'Prophecy' which is new at #11. Filatov & Karas return following their top 10 remix of 'Don't Be So Shy' at #14 with 'Tell It To My Heart'. Madden gets his first hit with 'Alive', new at #24. Tink returns to the top 40 with 'Clocks' at a new peak of #27. Lushington also makes a comeback with 'You Got Me Baby' at #37 which peaked at #19 a few months ago before its official release.

What a great #1 although more unexpected is the fact that it's returned to #1 here I don't think I've seen any Song do that here except for when it comes go David Guetta

Hey Dan,

Offaiah is still number one then! I can't fault it, it's hard work getting it out of my Top 10, but it is declining slowly in my chart. Still like it though.

I've played that Gryffin one a fair bit lately, but it isn't really clicking with me that much, it doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid.

A big yes for Tchami's climb, I think it could be a new entry in my chart this week.

Really good to also see new peaks for Filatov & Karas and Frenship too.

Fab chart as always.

Could be a while before Offaiah leaves my top 10, it's a proper choon.
Gryffin's brilliant! I'm very much liking that sound at the moment anyway.
Tchami's entry has such a good drop to it!

11. It's not half as good as 'Promesses' or 'Untrue' but I do like it for what it is.
14. Indeed, very much hooked on it now.
