I would rank the films:
1. CMBYN
2. 3BOEM
3. Dunkirk
4. Get Out (pretty much tied with Dunkirk)
5. The Post
6. TSOW
7. Lady Bird
8. TDH
9. TPH

And yeah, TSOW will most likely win after the 3BOEB fury but at least it is better than than Spotlight 2 years ago.

And for performances, Timothee Chalamet/Frances Mcdormand/Sam Rockwell/Allison Janney should be the ones and most likely 3/4 will win since Gary Oldman will beat Timothee like 100/0.

I kind of have these in categories of how much I loved them (1-6, 7-11, 12-17, 18-20) so I'll be presenting them like this!

18. Meryl Streep - The Post
19. Christopher Plummer - All The Money In The World
20. Denzel Washington - Roman J. Israel Esq.

Meryl was pretty good and I absolutely adore her/she's one of my favourite actresses ever but I was actually underwhelmed by her in The Post. I was constantly waiting for something more from her but it never came and she's easily the weakest in that category this year. Any of the ones who were probably just behind in 6th spot (Krieps/Williams) would've been way better nominees though my personal choice would have been Brooklynn Prince or Jennifer Lawrence who gave two of my favourite performances of the year.

ATMITW was an ok film but I wasn't a fan of Plummer's performance at all. I just didn't think he was that good. The only positive is that I'm glad that the statement the last minute casting change made. I would have definitely have had Hammer or Garret Hedlund in Mudbound in this line-up in a heartbeat, the latter was done so wrong this awards season and gave one of the best performances of 2017 </3

And easily the worst this year was Washington in the utterly diabolical horrendous can't fathom how its an Oscar nominated film Roman J Israel Esq. Washington is bad, I felt nothing for his character & it felt like failed Oscar-bait performance and he should've missed. And the film itself is even worse, it feels like failed-Oscar film dumped in summer from like 2003 that ends up just being released straight to TV because it's so bad. Hanks or Gyllenhaal should've got the 5th spot after it became apparent Franco wasn't making it.
