I know they were number one at Christmas and 2B1 has a winter themed video but since when was that (and Hallelujah/Mad World/Mull of Kintyre) considered a Christmas song?

I know they were number one at Christmas and 2B1 has a winter themed video but since when was that (and Hallelujah/Mad World/Mull of Kintyre) considered a Christmas song? I know! Wonder if they are last years or something. Look pretty accurate tho! Wizards and Shaky will make decent strides in this chart too as they are t that high considering how much they sell each yr!

Has anybody on here seen updated sales? With the last couple of Christmas period sales to be added to the above, it seems likely there will be some more million sellers in this list in the next 2 to 3 years, if they maintain average sales per year. Unfortunately most of the classic Xmas songs straddle the 1994 OCC takeover of chart compilation, so whatever figures I have will be incomplete. |
