Predictable but a great decision... and for the first time since Malmo it won't clash with a print expo that I have to go to every May, which always similarly conveniently darts around the calendar and various European cities to land on the same week as Eurovision. However this time it's going to be the following week, so I have provisionally booked a Lisbon hotel with free cancellation, but whether I can afford to go when the time comes will be another story! I do love Portugal though <3

Also, the first wave of tickets for the final (and accompanying rehearsals) go on sale on the 30th November

Looks like it's only Grand Final standing/golden circle tickets going on sale tomorrow, the normal seated tickets on December 20th and all other shows at an unspecified time in 2018.

guys, get there early as there's some queueing system in place for ppl who arrive early. not sure if it's like that every year and if arriving a minute early is the same as 2 hours in advance but still x

I'm place 6042 in the queue on the iPad and 19629 on my laptop (where I went on to the site a couple of minutes earlier so clearly the time of arrival makes no difference lmao)

Last year I gave up after an hour, checked back around midnight and got a ticket straight away - that was a lucky fluke though and all tickets went on sale on the same day, this is just standing.
Kiev sold really low in the end - I remember when the Semi-Final tickets were discounted to €17 because the arena was half empty. This one will be busier I think because Portugal...will try again on the 20th!

the only hope is fan accreditation and thankfully in Russia there's not much competition for those but who f***ing knows
