She really does think she is royalty these days. I'm convinced she did such a short shit Spice Girls video the other day because she did this and didn't want to over shadow her Queens speech in any way.

I don't think I could handle seeing that speech...
Mel C's one has been uploaded now and it's very cute, including a 'hope to see you very very soon' message. |

Victoria has posted a throwback pic of them dressed as santa on her own social media wishing everyone a Spicy Christmas.
If we don't get a video off Victoria tomorrow on the official social media I think these video messages some up the girls current commitment to the band right now. Mel B, Mel C and Emma dialed in up for doing whatever is requested of them. Geri doing it but half hearted and wanting to not take any spotlight off her own Queens speech message. Victoria saying I'll post something but only on my social media and not a video. It worries me that the 5 have agreed to things next year and that is the level of commitment each will show towards it. |

Definitely seems like that tweet is all we're getting from Victoria, no recorded video. It's nice that it was a Spice related tweet, but her not doing a video still separates her from the other girls

I don't mind the record being equalled. It'll be a bit eek if they go for it next year and break the record though (but they've said they don't intend to...)

LadBaby is the official Christmas No.1 and matches the Beatles and Spice Girls record 😳 Good for them, it’s not my thing but it’s for a fantastic cause and it all started out of wanting to help feed people. I downloaded a copy and made a donation to the charity, the least I can do when I’m sat eating a feast for Christmas Day and there are people out there starving, Ladbaby raise awareness of an important and all too frequent issue. Good for them. I dont get why everyone in the fandom is so upset about this? This doesnt diminish the Spice Girls' achievement.... I’ve nothing against them raising money for charity nobody would begrudge that, just makes a bit of a mockery of the charts. I’m not a fan of novelty songs like this. |

The Spice Girls once narrowly beat the Teletubies and then the guys from South Park (who then overtook the SG after 1 week). X-Factor contestants released bad covers of sappy songs and most of them got to #1, like 10 years in a row. The charts in the UK have always been a mockery of what the arts and music industry is to be honest... |

Did any of you get any Spice related gifts for Christmas? I didn't, but there wasn't really anything I needed
By the way, I watched Christmas in Spiceworld on Christmas Eve. Really enjoyed it! Not sure why I never got around to watching performances before now. I only remember having seen W.O.M.A.N. and Spice Up Your Life. Kind of funny that after all these years I've seen something so old that is mostly new to me. The Holler performance |

Christmas in Spiceworld is great, live vocals, heavy on the choreography. NGUOTGT is a highlight as is Goodbye. Holler was so exciting fully live.

Did any of you get any Spice related gifts for Christmas? I didn't, but there wasn't really anything I needed I did Hubby got me Spiceworld on vinyl the reprint and also The greatest hits, sis got me Spice on vinyl and my best friend got me Forever on vinyl. Hubby then also got me a Union Jack vinyl box to put them in and a matching Union Jack vinyl player... sadly the player came damaged so hoping to get that sorted. My parents though really shocked me buying the Melanie C 3 LP vinyl book when I’d not mentioned a word about it as I thought it was WAY too much money. Mum saw it online and bought me it 😮. I was very lucky 🍀 |
