As generic as it is I love that track! Should have given it a +5

124. CASH CASH FT. BEBE REXHA - TAKE ME HOME (-98 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3 OCC PEAK: 5 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 7 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 4 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 8 POSITIVE VOTES: 37 NEGATIVE VOTES: 77 RUN: 5-9-8 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -32.6667 Not another Cher cover at #124, but a UK chart debut for Cash Cash, a US Dance group with the help of the wonderfully named Bebe Rexha. The song also was entered in the Buzzjack Song Contest and is currently competing in the TBO final, let's hope this isn't a sign of how well it will do. |

123. UNION J - TONIGHT (WE LIVE FOREVER) (-96 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1 OCC PEAK: 9 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 12 POSITIVE VOTES: 3 NEGATIVE VOTES: 27 RUN: 10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -96 A break for the poor dance fans now as Union J drop their first of two entries, I completely forgot how "Tonight" went until listening again just now, it definitely is generic song, which goes straight out of your head after listening with a folksy Mumford & Son production akin to Gary Barlow's effort from last year "Let Me Go" (which did it better). It unfortunately contains a pet peeve of mine in music, which includes using elongated vowel sounds to make a construct a chorus. |

122. DJ CASSIDY FT. ROBIN THICKE & JESSIE J - CALLING ALL HEARTS (-93 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1 OCC PEAK: 6 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10 POSITIVE VOTES: 6 NEGATIVE VOTES: 31 RUN: 10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -93 There are three DJ-named acts on this countdown with Cassidy, Fresh & Mustard, now only DJ Fresh remains. I would have put this song a bit higher myself as I really like the Chic-inspired chorus, it doesn't really live up to the potential for the full duration but it's still a fun song. Maybe the drag factor of the unlikeable personalites of Robin Thicke and Jessie J (IMHO) pushed the song down further. This post has been edited by Leonardo: 5th January 2015, 09:00 PM |

121. BARS & MELODY - HOPEFUL (-92 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1 OCC PEAK: 5 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 0 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 12 POSITIVE VOTES: 3 NEGATIVE VOTES: 27 RUN: 10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -92 Although I normally watch The X Factor (apart from this year's), I never watch Britain's Got Talent, which is probably a good thing if acts such as Bars & Melody and Gabz from last year and the "talent" on display. Apparently the song is based on the 2005 Twista song, which I'm also ignorant to but I assume it's better than this, also the smaller kid looks very annoying in the video. |

120. CHRIS BROWN FT. USHER & RICK ROSS - NEW FLAME (-90 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1 OCC PEAK: 10 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10 POSITIVE VOTES: 5 NEGATIVE VOTES: 29 RUN: 10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -90 Another one week #10 up next and it's Chris Brown dropping out of the running, he's joined by Usher (with another song left) and T10 virgin Rick Ross. The song didn't seem to get as much airplay as "Loyal" but I prefer it out of the two, it's not revolutionary but it's a nice R&B effort which i'd play if I was in an R&B mood. |

119. PITBULL FT. G.R.L. - WILD WILD LOVE (-89 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1 OCC PEAK: 6 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10 POSITIVE VOTES: 8 NEGATIVE VOTES: 30 RUN: 10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -89 Up next is Pitbull who with this song became the artist with most #10s in Reshuffle history a title he proudly shares with One Direction, Will.i.am, Chris Brown & JLS each having seven a piece. Pitbull still has the much better "Timber" to come, whilst unfortunately G.R.L.'s other hit (and also superior) "Ugly Heart" missed the T10 due to streaming. RIP Simone Battle. |

118. UNION J - YOU GOT IT ALL (-89 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 1 OCC PEAK: 2 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10 POSITIVE VOTES: 8 NEGATIVE VOTES: 30 RUN: 10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -89 Hey I thought that guy from Magic (Nasri apparently) had gone from this rundown, he did however pen this historic hit for Union J. Historic for the wrong reasons but still historic, not only a massive drop from #2, but was the first song to miss out on the OCC #1 due to the inclusion of streaming. The song was more Westlife-y than their previous material and in turn meaned a different type of bland. Union J also have the distinction of having all their T10 hits go to #10 on Reshuffle. YGIA finished ahead of WWL as it recieved one "+4" compared to WWL's none. |

117. ZEDD FT. HAYLEY WILLIAMS - STAY THE NIGHT (-81 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3 OCC PEAK: 2 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 7 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 8 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10 POSITIVE VOTES: 36 NEGATIVE VOTES: 64 RUN: 5-6-9 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -27 After bringing us the glorious "Clarity" I expected a better song to smash from Zedd to smash the T10, not that this is bad but distinctly average. I like Hayley Williams' part on the song, much more than I did on one of my least favourite songs of all time (Buzzjack Fave: Airplanes ) |

116. A GREAT BIG WORLD FT. CHRISTINA AGUILERA - SAY SOMETHING (-78 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 3 OCC PEAK: 4 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 5 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 4 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 10 POSITIVE VOTES: 44 NEGATIVE VOTES: 63 RUN: 4-4-8 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -26 Queen of the keeping relevant using features Christina is yet again in the countdown thanks to another artist, this time A Great Big World. Now I do like a slow tempo ballad but it doesn't have to be dull, which unfortunately is something this song doesn't seem to realise. Plus, you know we're going to have to hear it again this weekend on The Voice, probably with the act going through even though the choice is so obvious. Right that's me for the night, hopefully more tomorrow evening. |

The worst song on this Countdown finishing ahead of one of the best...
Great stuff so far! Wonder if the positive scorers will outweigh the negatives this year? (Unlikely ) |
