Will Little Mix stay on top of the singles chart for a 4th week, or will James Arthur re-take the #1 position, also Clean Bandit are also in the race for the #1 spot collaborating with Sean Paul and Anne-Marie with their single 'Rockabye', unless Bruno Mars sneaks past them with '24k Magic'. New singles from Sigma featuring Birdy 'Find Me', Tom Zanetti feat. Sadie Ama 'You Want Me', another new single from the Chainsmokers this time collaborating with XYLØ 'Setting Fires' and Little Mix 'F.U.'. Robbie Williams could also scrape a new entry with 'Party Like A Russian' inside the top 40. On the X Factor results show on Sunday Robbie Williams and Emeli Sande are both performing, so expect 'Hurts' to climb back up the chart. Also the MTV EMAs are transmitted on Sunday evening on Channel 5, hosted by Bebe Rexha, performances and winners might give an extra boost to old and current chart music, personally I prefer to watch BBC1 Planet Earth II with David Attenborough.
In the album chart, the race is hotting up with Robbie Williams and Bon Jovi, both acts release new albums for the former 'The Heavy Entertainment Show' and the latter 'This House Is Not For Sale'. Alicia Keys also releases a new album titled 'HERE' vying for a top 10 position. Also new albums from Michael Ball & Alfie Boe, Kungs, and Honeyblood. The race for the Christmas #1 album is nearly upon us, there are still big album hitters yet to come from Emeli Sande, Little Mix, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, The Weeknd, Kate Bush, Sting, Rolling Stones and the long awaited album from Metallica.

The battle for Xmas #1 album is pretty interesting must say. You should add Drake to that list
Pretty busy singles chart by the looks
Among other big album hitters still to be released The Weeknd and Kate Bush. This week Robbie and Bon Jovi should be the top 2, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are doing really well on amazon so they should be top five. I am als curious to see where Queen's On Air album enters
Bon Jovi's last five Studio Albums all have peaked at number 2, they could indeed be on course for six in a row but will face strong competition from Michael Buble, Elvis and B&B.
Robbie should comfortably make the top spot.
I'm guessing Robbie Williams will unfortunately snatch the no1 album but sales might only be about 50k.
I hope Bon Jovi can manage at least number 2 with decent sales but i have a feeling this will be the first studio album in long time from them to miss the top 2
In all honesty I don't think Bon Jovi will even get top 4! I think it'll end up something like...
01. Michael Buble
02. Robbie Williams
03. Elvis Presley
04. Michael Ball/Alfie Boe
05. Bon Jovi
19-ish Alicia Keys (could start off top 10, but end up mid-low top 20 by the end of the week)
Lmao I swear Bon Jovi purposefully pick release weeks to get #2 albums. (although yeah this might not even be that high - Robbie will surely be #1 though?)
So do we have a three way battle this week then?
LM: #2 on iTunes, #2 on Spotify
CB: #1 on iTunes, #5 on Spotify
JA: #4 on iTunes, #1 on Spotify
I'm thinking
1- LM
2- CB
3- JA
I think it's Little Mix this week, then Clean Bandit will overtake.
Yeah, I'm not expecting brilliant numbers from Robbie tbh. Take the Crown, IIRC, sold 83k on debut week and, despite Swing Both Ways selling a better 126k or something, I wouldn't be surprised if this album didn't even manage Silver status on first week, especially if Michael Buble failed to do so as well. That could obviously still be more than enough to take the #1 spot, but it depends on what sort of boost Buble has received.
I find it funny that Bublé is selling more in the UK than in the US and also is more popular than in Canada
Bublé and Elvis, what IS your problem UK!?!?!
Ya i can see Bon Jovi ending at number 5 alaos but im hoping for higher and certainly nothing less than top 5. They have a habit of picking bad weeks to release albums as there opening sales are usually enough to be number 1 on most weeks of the year. I hope Bon Jovi have promotion lined up to keep the album selling outside the opening week.
Yea, the fact that he will actually score bigger numbers this week in the UK than in the US says it all. It even opened less than a half of Joanne's #s
~30.000 for Robbie in one day
Could Robbie cross the 100K mark or no chance?
I think Wikipedia may have made a mistake.... says that Heavy Entertainment Show sold over 100k in the first day becoming robbies fastest selling album since 2004 😂 ... surely this needs editing haha!
I think Robbie will sell around around 70-80 thousand this week.
Bublé has also been in the news a lot these past few days for very unfortunate reasons of course..
Do we get any chart info today or is it tomorrow?
Mint Royale -
Assume this means Charli XCX is plummeting
Charli XCX has only been on the radio C-list for 3 days, I wouldn't be saying it's time to move on just yet.
This is so sad. I really want a four weet at #1 for Little Mix, hope they can do this game.
Presuming it will be close then between CB and LM. Does James Arthur have a chance?
Ideally Little Mix will stay a 4th week at number 1 in the singles but they will have a big battle on their hands to do it. I would be thrilled if Michael Buble could beat Robbie Williams to the top spot but i cant see it happening but it would be a welcome shock outcome.
I hope Rockabye makes it #1...I love LM as well but that's already been 3 weeks at #1

Ideally the wonderful Birdy with her Sigma duet will make it to the top 40.
Alicia Keys album is too low looking at top 30 by the end of the week.
Bon Jovi unlikely to peak at 2 SHOCK !
Michael Ball and Alfie Boe is shockingly high, i did not see that happening and Alicia Keys is extremely low and will likely drop as the week progresses. Michael Buble Christmas back in the top 10, it looks like his sales are split between this and the new album.
Why did people think Michael Bublé was in with a shout of #1 album?
COME ON ROCKABYE. Would be the best number one hit of the year for me if it makes it.
Have The Vamps released a physical version of "All Night" or something?
When are we getting the sales update?
Glad its a new song knocking Little Mix off #1 and not James returning to #1, Would of liked Little Mix to get their fourth week at #1 but 3 weeks is still brilliant.
The Vamps randomly in at #13 there. I imagine they'll drop a lot through the week, they'll make low Top 40 by Friday though.
Disappointed with the opening position for Birdy and Sigma,it is likely now to miss the top 40
Big jump for The Vamps but in many ways its a fake jump as it includes all the physical sales etc, it will likely plummet as the week progresses and be low top 40 at its highest on the real chart on Friday.
I am pleased Clean Bandit are getting it, but I do think it's a shame that Little Mix's epic 4 week number one in the style of Atomic Kitten, Girls Aloud and Sugababes got may not happen.
11 Louisa Johnson - So Good
13 The Vamps - All Night *
Excellent News seeing Clean Bandit at #1, best chart-topper since I Took A Pill In Ibiza if it hangs on.
Lol at Sigma's flop.
Juju looking likely to crack the top 40 this Friday
Kungs has an album out? That's been well promoted then.
Rick Astley returning the top 20 now What a horrible drop for Courteeners after opening on such great sales, it could leave the top 50 at this rate on week 2
Little Mix still performing very well with Get Weird sitting in the top 30. I did not know Super Furry Animals were releasing new albums and was surprised to see them have 2 new entries this week.
By fake i mean it is a very short term jump and will in no way reflect its real chart position on Friday.
Lol at physicals bringing The Vamps to #13. Will drop lots over the course of the week of course but it'd be good to see it make the top 40.
Can't say I'm disappointed about Sigma looking to miss the top 40, the song isn't that great. Zay & Zayion at #41 ready to take its place by Friday though :/
Rockabye #1 please stay there.
Clean Bandit less than 700 copies ahead of Little Mix. (28,125 x 27,451)
Robbie Williams with 44,703. Michael Ball and Alfie Boe safe at #2 with 27,291. Bon Jovi will definitely miss out on top 2 with 15,725 only.
Lady Wood completely gone then as expected.
Kungs new album starting at 85
At least he's doing better than Lost Frequencies did with his album (yes, he released an album).
On the other hand, it looks like Bon Jovi could be #5 or #6 on Friday.
Top 5 sales added.
Happy to see Clean Bandit are looking to take the top spot. Great to see another Number 1 tally for 2016, and it's a good track!
I Found a Girl was #19 or #20 in the first set of midweeks if I remember correctly and it ended up at #30 come Friday, so if All Night follows a similar pattern, it should indeed get a chart play! This has the benefit of it not being week 1, so the digital sales won't be frontloaded (although physicals obviously will), so a top 25 spot isn't totally out of the question. Hard to say at this point though, tomorrow may provide a clearer picture!
I've got a feeling that Louisa will do an Ellie Goulding and stay at 11 in mids for the rest of the month
Wow better sales for Robbie than I expected.
Fantastic sales for Robbie - his album is his strongest in years IMO. The blue rinse brigade are out in force for the Michael/Alfie album too!
Go Clean Bandit with (probably) their 2nd No. 1, nice little climb to the top after debuting inside the top 10 2 weeks ago.
g'won clean bandit~
URGH @ the stale robbie williams still being able to sell over 50k in a week
Sean Paul for his third #1 then. Fingers crossed he can get there one day with a solo release, or he too renowned as a features man? Also, any solo material is highly unlikely to top his 00's output.
I'm really hoping Rockabye gets to number one, I love it.
What are the chance of Robbie Williams getting top 40 I the singles?
Although thanks to the OCC not realising that the Sean Paul version of Cheap Thrills is the official single version, he wouldn't "officially" have had that third #1 if it made the top spot anyway
19 King Astley
13 The Vamps & Matoma - All Night *
Lmao same, I wish more artists released physicals - as we can see it DOES make an impact on the charts and I'd say if every big new release had a physical we'd see more new entries in the top 40!
physicals only really work with the kind of acts that have a big pre-teen stanbase like The Vamps and 5SOS... it wouldn't work for most new releases.
The bundle was actually £5.99 it's clearly working for them anyway, and a sale is a sale so it isn't a "gimmick"...
Robbie Williams based on sales so far should be on target for 75,000, would this be a fair guess?
It looks unlikely for Rae Sremmurd to score their first top 40 this Friday but let's hope they get it the Friday after
Would be good if Rae Sremmurd made the top 40 this Friday
I personally can't see past either Little Mix or Elvis for the Xmas #1 album~ Get Weird was selling strongly throughout December so i see the same happening with their new one, but Elvis will be a big christmas seller too
Yeah! Clean Bandit have increased their advantage over Little Mix (47,540 x 43,255).
Juju on That Beat now #40. No sign of Sigma in the top 40 anymore.
Robbie Williams album is performing impressively, with figures of 59,825.
Bon Jovi now #5.
Incoming... net problems

Never heard of that before
I'd imagine if The Vamps are still top 20 on Wednesday night, they're pretty safe for the Top 40 on Friday.
Very happy to see Clean Bandit appear to have number one wrapped up. The changover seems to be around 3/4 weeks nowadays which isn't too bad I guess.
Do you have only top 40 info Martin?
Does anyone know where's Sigma please?
Also reading on Music Week website (I'm a subscriber) that Bon Jovi have dropped 2 places to #5.
Bublé is at #3, Elvis at #4 and Bon Jovi is at #5 Mart!n
Do you have the position of Gaga ?
Nice to see Alicia Keys holding on - hoping she'll be able to stay top 20 come Friday!
Robbie has a concert airing on ITV on December 5th! He played londons troxy and received the Brits icon award Monday night and it's been filmed for that date. That'll stick him in the mix for xmas no1 album! He's also playing the BBC music awards on December 12th too ......
Really hope Louisa can hit the top 10, relying on a big Spotify update tomorrow!
The album top 5 is moving around but i would think the update today will be what the top 5 will look like on Friday.
Pink Floyd coming for that 475th week in the Top 100. Remarkably there are 5 other Albums in the Top 100 this week with more weeks (Meatloaf 519, Fleetwood Mac 654, Bob Marley 745, Queen 747, Abba 759), it's a Chart within a Chart 😀
YAY for Clean Bandit, they've increased their lead

Vamps look set to make the play zone then! They were actually in the top 40 biggest sellers of yesterday too so maybe a drop out of the top 40 next week won't happen (depends if Radio 1 keep it on the playlist or not I guess)
Looks like Rae Sremmurd will miss out Oh well, they'll definitely get it next week
Rae Sremmurd are #46 and selling quite well right now so they could well make it!
Looks like we are on course for a second consecutive All-Male Album Top 10...I guess it has happened quite a lot over the years but may be not so much in recent years (with success of Adele, Jess Glynne, Emeli Sandé etc)
is Louisa far from the 10? could she make it or unlikely?
thanks in advance
Louisa isn't selling enough to be top 10 unfortunately
Sigma's position please?
Yes! Robbie coming in for a 12th no.1 album, even more interesting are the sales aren't much lower than what Take The Crown did and album sales were healthier then plus it was off the back of a no.1 hit.
Really disappointed for Sigma and Birdy.
Whereabouts is the new Robbie single? And is that Collapsable Hearts Club (or whatever it's called) anywhere to be seen?
How many sales is NIEKED and Maroon 5 off the top 5?
Who was the last Living artist to sell more albums in a week than the number one single.?.
Do you reckon Vaults can go top 100 or not a chance in hell?
Still think the Sigma/Burdy song will be a Top 40 hit at some point - It's already been reduced to 79p and I'm sure like with 'Cry' they will make it 59p, it's also on the upcoming 'Now 95' which will give it a further boost.
I fear that "The Mack" will enter the top 40 tomorrow
