NEW (1) Sultan + Shepard f/Nadia Ali & IRO - Almost Home 50.) NEW (1) Lindsey Stirling f/Becky G - Christmas C’mon (yeah, I’m not doing the capitals for Sofi Tukker anymore, it looks cluttered) It had to be done. “...Ready For It?” reaches the top spot in a relatively dead week at the top but is joined by “End Game” at #2! This is the first time an artist had two lead credits in the top 2. (Iggy Azalea occupied the top 2 back in 2014 but one of them was a featured credit.) “Wolves” gets knocked down to #3, “How Long” stays at #4, and “Havana” drops to #5. Sofi Tukker rocket up the chart to #7 with “Best Friend”. Three songs enter the top 20: Cheat Codes manage another top 20 with “Feels Great” at #18, Quinn XCII continues a nice climb with “Straightjacket” at #19, and Olivia Holt matches her previous peak with “Generous” leaping up 6 spots to #20. Harry Styles is the lone top 30 entry with “Kiwi” at #30. Four songs enter the top 40 this week, the greatest gainer goes to Alan Walker & friends as “All Falls Down” jumps up 13 spots to #34. Kendrick Lamar gets his second top 40 this year with “LOVE.” up 6 spots to #36, Demi Lovato makes a nice jump up 7 spots to #38 with “Tell Me You Love Me”, and G-Eazy reaches the top 40 with “No Limit” at #40. Five songs debut this week, the highest being PNAU with “Go Bang” at #41. Why Don’t We debut (surprisingly) at #46 with “These Girls”, Charli XCX makes a grand return to the chart with David Guetta & French Montana in “Dirty Sexy Money” at #47, Sultan + Shepard reach the chart with “Almost Home” at #49, and lo and behold - a Christmas song is on the chart! Lindsey Stirling teams up with Becky G (who had a #1 earlier this year) in their Xmas charter “Christmas C’mon” at #50. Expect that to have a rather short chart life “A Different Way” is the biggest dropper this week, down 17 spots to #48. “Attention” drops out (in favor of Lindsey), meaning “Strip That Down” is the new longest reigner - it remains at #23 in its 28th week. Get that longevity, Liam! Droppers: OUT (40.) (20) Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still OUT (41.) (8) Cardi B - Bodak Yellow OUT (43.) (20) Kesha - Praying OUT (48.) (22) DJ Khaled f/Rihanna & Bryson Tiller - Wild Thoughts *1 week @ #1* OUT (50.) (29) Charlie Puth - Attention *1 week @ #1* Flashback Of The Week: Chart Contender Of The Week: I’m having some really random debuts this month |
