Afternoon all I am hoping that 'This Is Me' will enter the top 40 today so I can see what all the hype is about I'm really tempted to go and see the film.
Retro top 3s: 2017 01. Little Mix - 'Touch' 02. Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie - 'Rockabye' 03. The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - 'Starboy' 'Rockabye' finally overtaken now that Little Mix have arrived with the stellar second single from 'Glory Days' *.* 'Touch' just kept getting better and better and soon cemented itself as the best single from this campaign. A shame that its video is my least favourite of the era though 2013 (eek at 2013 being 5 years ago now!) 01. Taylor Swift - 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' 02. Olly Murs feat. Flo Rida - 'Troublemaker' 03. PSY - 'Gangnam Style' '1989' is definitely my favourite Taylor album but 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' is still her very best song for me, I was blown away on first listen and that magic still remains. It was such a brilliant switch-up for her with the dubstep elements. 2008 01. Girls Aloud - 'Call The Shots' 02. Take That - 'Rule The World 03. Nickelback - 'Rockstar' Yep that is indeed Nickelback in my top 3, I usually find them absolutely terrible but 'Rockstar' is one of their two great songs along with 'How You Remind Me'. 2003 01. Girls Aloud - 'The Sound of the Underground' 02. Avril Lavigne - 'Sk8er Boi' 03. Las Ketchup - 'The Ketchup Song (Aserejé)' I was reminded of how excellent GA's debut was the other day when it was one of three songs chosen for Radio 1's 10 minute takeover *.* such an innovative winning single! I think this makes Girls Aloud the first act to top two retro charts simultaneously for me, slay. I was listening to 'Sk8er Boi' just yesterday after getting Avril Lavigne records for Christmas and that song has got to be one of the most nostalgic ever for me *.* Also, I had no idea that Las Ketchup had this much longevity in the top 10 1998 01. Robbie Williams - 'Angels' 02. Spice Girls - 'Too Much' 03. All Saints - 'Never Ever' I initially wasn't sure about 'Too Much' but then it suddenly clicked with me after I watched Spiceworld the Movie for the first time! Queens of Christmas #1 *.* |

Snakey tune in now they're playing M&S pts. The Girl Next Door!!! #funkyhousefriday Oh my! But you have to sign in to listen live online now and I don't have a BBC account yet oops. Wonder if they will play Basshunter before the chart in two weeks time to celebrate it will have been 10 years since it started its five week run at the top spot! Doubt it This post has been edited by mdf: 5th January 2018, 04:01 PM |

Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble The Greatest Show The Greatest Showman (OST) | 2017 Chart Run NE (11/01/2018) | 40 Information Released: 26th October 2017 Label: Atlantic Recording Corporation Chart sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio TBA Sales TBA Streaming Video Biography The Greatest Showman is a 2017 American period musical drama film directed by Michael Gracey, and written by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, and Zendaya. The film is inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum's creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus, and the lives of its star attractions. Principal photography on the film began in New York City in November 2016, and it premiered on December 8, 2017 aboard the RMS Queen Mary 2. It was theatrically released in the United States on December 20, 2017 by 20th Century Fox, seven months after the circus stopped operating, and has grossed $102 million worldwide. The Greatest Showman received mixed reviews with praise for the cast (particularly Jackman), music, and production values, but criticism for the artistic license taken, with some reviewers calling it "faux-inspiring and shallow". At the 75th Golden Globe Awards, the film received three nominations: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Actor – Musical or Comedy (Jackman), and Best Original Song ("This Is Me"). - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Hugh Jackman 2018 40 The Greatest Show (Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble) -OST- Keala Settle 2018 40 The Greatest Show (Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble) -OST- Zac Efron 2006 09 Breaking Free (Gabriella & Troy) -OST- 2007 96 Ladies' Choice -OST- 2008 81 Can I Have This Dance (The Cast of High School Musical, Vanessa Hudgens & Zac Efron) -OST- 2018 40 The Greatest Show (Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble) -OST- Zendaya 2018 40 The Greatest Show (Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble) -OST- The Greatest Showman Ensemble 2018 40 The Greatest Show (Hugh Jackman, Keala Settle, Zac Efron, Zendaya & The Greatest Showman Ensemble) -OST- Social Media The Greatest Showman |
