Despite being very popular among fans and more casual listeners, these two songs often get overshadowed by Hung Up which came before it. The question is which of them do you prefer?

Get Together gets my vote. It's sublime and easily one of my favourite Madonna songs period. I adore Sorry too but Get Together has my heart - I may even prefer it to Hung Up on days.

At the time I think I preferred Sorry but over time Get Together has overtaken it.

Get Together for me as well. When the beat drops out at the beginning of the second chorus? I still ascend.

When I looked, I'm sure this was 2-1 in Sorry's favour so this turn around to 2-7 for Get Together is very surprising to see. Deserved though heart.gif

Get Together for me also. I do like Sorry as a good pop track but Get Together is more interesting within her back catalogue and pushes further into the dance territory she was embracing with stunning results.

Sorry. I have a huge irrational dislike for Get Together and I really don't know why laugh.gif

I picked 'Sorry' as it has been one of my very favourites of Madonna ever since its release, but 'Get Together' has gone from being a song I'd rush to be over on Confessions so I could hear the aforementioned 'Sorry' to becoming an essential Madonna track. I agree with Dandy that it pushes her more and is something quite different in her discography. Really enchanting and euphoric - I love the way the beat pulls in and out and the production lowers and rises.

'Sorry' has it for me, I feel like I even prefer that to 'Hung Up'! (Which is the one I feel overshadows it most)

I actually think both of these have aged a bit better than Hung Up!

I think Get Together is the most current sounding song on that entire album.
