BuzzJack Music Forum _ Britney Spears _ PREDICT: 'Slumber Party' (Ft. Tinashe) Peak in the USA & UK

PREDICT what you think the peak of 'Slumber Party' (Ft. Tinashe)!

I know it's hard to tell without hearing the remix or knowing it's promotional schedule, but, what would you predict for a release with a GOOD video and one promo performance for each country. Impact level of the American Music Awards and X Factor.

Will Slumber Party be a sleeper hit? Do decently like 'Make Me' in the USA, or flop like a pancake at the Waffle House?

DISCUSS!

I'm going to be pessimistic and say it won't chart. I feel like if it was released a month ago in the US it would have done something, but the hype from Glory is gone now. Radio just don't seem to be there for her and that's the defining factor. Would love to be proved wrong though.

I don't think this will be a hit in the UK unfortunately. It's much stronger than 'Make Me' but if she can't get a hit with a comeback single, I'm not sure there'll be any interest in any subsequent singles. Happy to be proved wrong though.

It seems far easier for Britney to get a hit in the US, so I'd imagine it'd go at least Top 40 there, but would hope for Top 20.

US: #64
UK: Top 200 if lucky

I'm going to wait for my official prediction (my actual vote)

Worst case scenario:
US - 70-100 - The top heavy sales from Brit's fan base will be enough to hit the Hot 100 just from being a new mix.
UK - No one even knows it was released. Peaks at #199

Best case scenario:
US - Top 10 - Stellar video, as in a career highlight. Performance on AMA's. PAYOLA FOR RADIO. Everyone else does it and it's literally the only thing that kept Make Me from being a top ten hit with a bit of longevity.
UK - Do everything possible, peak @ #37. :')

I'll wait until the video is released before I make a prediction. biggrin.gif

The whole point is to guess from what we know so far! the song will probably have been out a while by then!

I went middle of the road that's still paved with optimism. Top 20 USA & Top 75 UK.

US #40-70
UK top 75 - it's a new mix so the fanbase buys should get it to chart at least top 100, hopefully top 75!

This thread is f***ing cute TBH.

I love that we are loyal to our faves even when the charts aren't. That's what separates this forum from others, IMO. Hate flaky stans. Gives me #Aiden teas who cycled through begging to moderate any forum who's artist was doing extremely well, ATM.

Where my Xtina fans at? #staystrong

Well in that case I doubt it will chart either side of the Atlantic. laugh.gif

I gave 70-100 for US and DNC for UK.

As much as I would love this to happen, it just won't. But as a fan I am totally happy with the single choice wub.gif

top 50 US, UK 101 - 200

I don't think it's going to chart in the UK however I'm hoping top 40 in the USA. I know I'm probably being delusional.

40-70 in the US
DNC for the UK! sad.gif > Unless the video is outstanding and gets people talking! <

#123 in the UK, #61 in the US.

Unless this gets a decent video effect, I can't see it doing anything in the US top 100.
