71 725 Lorde - Perfect Places (72-31-28-17-14-18-15-17-15-25-26-41-48-41-51-50-58-xx) [17 wks]
72 706 CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola (56-20-18-13-12-13-14-15-20-28-33-30-40-...) [13+ wks]
73 705 Arcade Fire - Everything Now (54-44-49-44-28-16-12-7-5-6-18-27-60-69-70-71-xx) [16 wks]
74 702 Camila Cabello - Crying In The Club (18-12-9-7-10-12-10-10-19-21-32-50-xx) [12 wks]
75 702 Jonas Blue feat. William Singe - Mama (61-52-34-41-15-13-10-18-24-21-25-32-32-48-41-47-xx) [16 wks]

Only just sneaking into the top 10 is DJ Jonas Blue, with his best single to date Mama. The track features Australian ex-boybander William Singe and has chart sales of over a million in the UK, his second song to achieve this status after Fast Car! With the same number of points, Camila Cabello is at #74 with her debut solo single Crying in the Club, which was annoyingly snubbed from her eventual debut album Camila (which is still amazing tbf). The song made little impact in the US but was almost a UK top 10! Arcade Fire somehow got a multichart top 5 with a song I only heard a couple of weeks ago on Radio 1, and Lorde got a long-runner with Melodrama's second single Perfect Places. Somehow, CamelPhat and Elderbrook's Cola also features here. God knows how considering it's absolute tosh x

Starting out strong, and with this years 75th with more points than lasts years ohmy.gif Will be interesting to see if that pattern continues trough the results or just if this years scores are generally closer together

Mama at 75 is nice to see though tongue.gif It’s a nice song but typical Jonas Blue at this point and isn’t very memorable

That's such a short chart run for Crying In The Club ohmy.gif Can't believe it plummeted out so quickly, would've thought it'd have more longevity here than in the official chart!

Did CITC have that much longevity on the actual charts though? If not then the quick drop here is understandable

It spend 19 weeks in the UK chart, 11 of those in the top 40. Almost as if once it hit ACR Buzzjack just grew tired of it.

66 745 Ed Sheeran - Perfect (63-66-xx-59-49-52-62-60-xx-62-57-48-32-29-24-11-7-5-5-5-3-...) [19+ wks]
67 737 Niall Horan - Slow Hands (66-51-46-32-25-22-9-9-14-16-17-27-36-35-43-50-57-xx) [17 wks]
68 736 Charlie Puth - How Long (40-19-10-5-5-5-5-6-14-12-24-31-...) [12+ wks]
69 728 Niall Horan - Too Much to Ask (36-27-22-19-16-11-11-15-17-25-37-44-42-41-49-...) [15+ wks]
70 727 Martin Solveig feat. Ina Wroldsen - Places (58-71-xx-58-55-45-28-22-19-25-23-23-35-39-36-56-36-39-42-56-53-62-65-xx) [22 wks]

Places became a big sleeper hit for DJ Martin Solveig, a departure from the string of future house bangers he returned to prominence with. I was anything but a fan of Charlie Puth's debut era but that's nothing a few cool funktronica tunes can't fix - How Long being one of those and the other still to come. Niall Horan fans will love this batch as we have both the rather good summer hit Slow Hands and the rather forgotten Too Much To Ask which is almost as high for some reason. And finally Ed Sheeran, whose mushy token winter ballad Perfect was essentially forced to the Christmas #1 via duets with Beyoncé and Andrea Bocelli as if solely to spite Buzzjack, the magnificence of this man heart.gif got as high as #3 on the Multi tho so you all clearly liked it anyway x

For all Buzzjack claims to hate Ed Sheeran, he's had 3 top 10s on the multichart this era laugh.gif

Pretty fab section there on the whole, How Long is my favourite wub.gif

It's amazing how well 'Perfect' did, at one point when it was #11 it was only in 9 members' charts but was top 10 on all 9 of them! ohmy.gif

'Too Much To Ask' would have been well ahead of 'Slow Hands' if its entire chart run had been included! Its last three weeks were in January so those points don't count here.

61 754 Sean Paul feat. Dua Lipa - No Lie (...-24-25-24-16-13-11-10-9-13-21-36-41-49-44-57-71-74-xx) [17 wks]
62 754 Jason Derulo feat. Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign - Swalla (74-47-40-44-48-22-18-17-13-6-7-14-14-34-33-40-67-xx) [17 wks]
63 751 Duke Dumont & Gorgon City feat. NAATIONS - Real Life (35-29-32-33-39-40-37-29-17-10-11-19-28-25-29-52-xx) [16 wks]
64 749 David Guetta feat. Justin Bieber - 2U (36-16-19-15-13-18-15-19-30-21-31-41-42-54-57-59-57-xx) [17 wks]
65 746 Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes (34-21-11-9-7-10-24-28-33-29-29-34-40-41-54-66-...) [16+ wks]

One of my favorite #1s of 2017, Sam Smith’s 'Too Good At Goodbyes' predictably doesn’t do so well here. It peaked at #7 and spent only 3 weeks in the top 10. David Guetta’s only entry this year is at #64, with Justin Bieber on '2U'. I managed to avoid this song completely so I can’t give an opinion on it. kink.gif Not so with 'Real Life', another brilliant effort from Duke Dumont and his biggest hit in a few years. Jason Derulo continues to extend his chart career far longer than anyone expected, here with 'Swalla' which had a #6 peak on both the Multichart and official chart. Actually Sean Paul has remained relevant probably twice as long! Buzzjack certainly approved of his collab with Dua Lipa as 'No Lie' charted not only 17 weeks last year but also 5 weeks at the end of 2016.

No Lie was such a bop dance.gif Best thing Sean Pauls done in years tbh

Not here for David Guetta or Sam Smith but Jason Derulo beating them is a happy sight tongue.gif

Surprised Real Life made top 10 though ohmy.gif Even if it was just 1 week laugh.gif

56 764 The Chainsmokers - Paris (28-17-15-13-10-17-12-15-17-20-24-33-42-50-63-xx) [15 wks]
57 764 Little Mix feat. Machine Gun Kelly - No More Sad Songs (72-xx-17-11-8-9-9-5-6-7-8-8-13-47-xx) [13 wks]
58 762 Rita Ora - Anywhere (58-7-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-...) [11 wks]
59 761 Selena Gomez - Bad Liar (25-13-17-23-17-13-12-12-14-9-10-18-44-xx) [13 wks]
60 754 Zara Larsson - I Would Like (...-5-3-4-5-10-12-17-21-36-39-51-48-36-38-61-xx) [15 wks]

Zara Larsson's I Would Like ended up split between 2016 and 2017, but the loss of a few weeks hasn't hindered its success here by much as it still impacts the top 60. Selena Gomez's very wordy comeback single Bad Liar made the top 10, before diving out of the top 75 just 4 weeks after its peak (!!). Most recent #1 at the cut-off point, Anywhere by OUR QUEEN AND GODDESS Rita Ora, doesn't have quite enough time to rack up points to feature highly, despite 9 weeks at #1 up to that point. However, it has 4 more weeks of its record-breaking run at the top that will carry over to 2017's countdown, so maybe it'll feature highly next year? Little Mix's No More Sad Songs spent quite a while in the top 10 but had a drop-off similar to that of Bad Liar, while The Chainsmokers had a longer run with only one week in the top 10, at #10, for Paris.

probably from the same spectrum I find Anywhere overrated despite it being really good

51 813 Shawn Mendes  - There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back (37-9-5-6-5-6-7-16-29-34-27-44-67-65-55-54-59-53-61-68-xx) [20 wks]
52 812 The xx - On Hold (...-9-12-14-13-19-13-16-17-23-25-37-34-38-50-58-53-58-67-xx) [18 wks]
53 796 Rag’n’Bone Man - Human (...-4-5-7-14-15-14-19-12-24-35-42-47-51-45-47-61-54-xx) [17 wks]
54 780 Lady Gaga - The Cure (27-3-2-2-2-1-2-6-11-23-38-38-53-xx) [13 wks]
55 765 Rita Ora - Your Song (22-4-3-2-2-4-8-11-22-28-35-55-48-67-64-xx) [15 wks]

Rita Ora returned and became everyone's new favourite seemingly, Your Song wasn't able to knock Malibu from the #1 spot though. Those who still craved more dance pop Gaga were given their wish when 'The Cure' was dropped out of nowhere in April, it's her 14th Multi #1 to date. Rag'n'Bone Man scored breakout success with soulful pop anthem "Human", and then The xx rather impressively made a dent in the multichart top 10 with "On Hold"! Shawn Mendes decided to redeem himself in 2017 by releasing an enjoyable piece of music~ his second top 5 single after Stitches

46 843 Zedd & Alessia Cara - Stay (65-27-16-13-11-10-10-13-15-13-15-15-39-38-45-58-65-65-71-xx-73-xx) [20 wks]
47 840 Anne-Marie - Ciao Adios (61-28-7-7-8-9-5-6-8-9-11-16-31-38-61-71-xx) [16 wks]
48 816 Starley - Call On Me (...-65-21-13-9-7-8-8-8-9-11-22-29-31-46-45-68-xx) [16 wks]
49 815 Justin Bieber & BloodPop® - Friends (16-6-5-4-5-6-8-8-14-28-27-36-34-52-xx) [14 wks]
50 814 Carly Rae Jepsen - Cut To The Feeling (73-20-5-3-3-8-7-9-10-14-19-24-50-49-48-xx-60-xx) [16 wks]

We here at Buzzjack are oblivious to Carly Rae Jepsen no longer being popular, as ‘Cut To The Feeling’ got to #3 without being even remotely a hit. Even ‘Run Away With Me’ only reached #4 on the Multichart! Fellow Canadian Justin Bieber is at #49 with ‘Friends’, a song which simply deserved better (including a full music video and A-list on Radio 1 [/hadji]). The Ryan Riback remix of Starley’s ‘Call On Me’ turned it into one of the first hit songs of 2017; in fact the next two songs are from Q1 too. ‘Ciao Adios’ is by far Anne-Marie’s biggest solo hit on the Multichart. You’d be surprised to know that ‘Alarm’ only peaked at #20! And at #46 we have Zedd and Alessia Cara (another Canadian!) with ‘Stay’, which has recently returned to the chart after the vocals were re-recorded by Maren Morris—although some sources say they’re actually two different songs unsure.gif

Not big on any of these bar Ciao Adios tbh, which I went off of not long after anyway.
