23RD... THE STREAK IS ALMOST OVER?
MXMS - gravedigger  After a tense results show in Jadakissnia, Lotunia walked away as victors for the first time with the Billie Eilish-leaning "Why Do You Love Me" by previous semi-final last-placer Charlotte Lawrence. An impressive display for Cor Lupus also, our current qualifying streak partners, and Jadakissnia who landed at #02 and #03 respectively. Not only were these tracks big faves for the Aeroche voting public, but it marked a second consecutive podium finish for Jadakissnia who were also last month's winners. Are they on route to make it a triple? As for Aeroche, our spooky deathpop anthem "Gravedigger" limped to a more modest 23rd place finish, which is the worst result of the year. A decent finish no doubt, especially considering that we only qualified due to two non-voting nations in Unovia and Aesthetica (thank you)! With this being another near-miss this year after our 14th semi-final place in BJSC 115, is the 32-long hot streak due to break soon? Well not if we have anything to say about it. We're lining up our best potentials, with the hot favourite being a mysterious sample-laden witch house bop which is quintessential dark Aeroche... just in time for Halloween. BJSC 119 is a RETURN TO FORM. Amazing hosting from Joseph and Jade this month and THANK YOU to those who supported MXMS this month - grateful to be in the final for another month  |

 glad you enjoyed my entry and hosting - high praise coming from you, whose hosting I'm always in awe of! I was disappointed by the performance of 'gravedigger' for most of the reveal, thank goodness it clawed back a bit more of a respectable finish in the end. I'm glad that the underwhelming positions for the past couple of contests (compared to the hype / Aeroche standards obviously!!) haven't put you off continuing the dark renaissance - very excited for what you've got for us next contest, quintessential dark Aeroche sounds goooood *.*
