A good tie for United on paper but given how shite we were last time in the Europa league nothing can be certain.

Man United might as well try and win this competition but I have a feeling that we wont. Borussia Dortmund are the favourites at the moment but Sevilla will have a very good chance.

The only trophy United have never won - I'm sure they'd want to add it to their collection - great mix of teams/leagues in the last 32!

Well they would, but most Man Utd fans see the trophy as 'beneath' them.

It's a slog of a competition, but easy chance to win a trophy if the effort is put in.

Man United should win tonight providing they don't slip up.

Intriguing match between Tottenham and Fiorentina, how do people see that going?

I fancied them to beat you with all the injuries you had at the moment.

Christ on a bike, United are up shit creek.

Spurs looked decent.

Agreed. So many average/shit players. I know how it feels, but Van Gaal is not all at fault here.

And they did.

Many average overpaid players indeed. It is not necessary all Van Gaal's fault. Although well done to FC Midtylland.

Good draw for Spurs against Fiorentina.

Perhaps Van Gaal should take advice from Gary Neville as Valencia go 5-0 up against Rapid Wien within 35 minutes.

Ugh. Well at least in a months time I'll be able to hurl abuse at my pathetic excuse for a team from Salford instead of Scotland. Won't have to shout as loud.

I'm not sure anybody needs to be taking advice from Gary Neville right now. That's only his second win in eons.

Louis Van Gaal is done I think, even if we somehow win the FA Cup he wont be in charge next season. It's a good thing that I didn't/wasn't able to watch the match live.

What makes things worse is that they came from behind to beat us.

A bit of luck there for Gary Neville last night. He still could out of a job soon if results don't go his way.

Marcus Rashford looking like the saviour for Man United as he scored twice and Man Utd are 3-1 up and lead 4-3 on aggregate.

A new star is born! biggrin.gif

Fantastic debut for Marcus Rashford and the fact that he only played because Martial got injured in the warm up makes it even more special. I have to say that Memphis played really well to, if he only he could play like that in every match instead of just European matches.

Hopefully we will carry on the momentum from the past two matches into our match against Arsenal on Sunday.
