Commentary

Omi takes the top spot. It's an odd song with a nice message. "Walk" moves back up to #2, and last week's #1, "Outside", slips to #3. While The Avener stays put in the top 5. However the top 5 does change up a bit this week as the slow burner "Take Me To Church" moves into that region. Meanwhile, Sia's latest and James Bay jump right into the top 10.

Outside of the top 10, the point thresholds are quite low at the moment due to lack of new stuff to chart at this time of year. "Mess Is Mine", "Something Big", and "Wish You Were Mine" (and probably "Sugar Man" as well) earn higher peaks than they normally would because of this. But that's not to take away from their success.

Avicii's messy new single also gets a new peak. I like this too much. "Dear Future Husband" is charting in Australia, so that's enough of a reason for me to chart it here. Her album didn't impress me much on first listen, but this was a definite highlight. The only other debut this week comes from Rae Morris.
