Hey J!
1. Adele Send My Love (To Your New Lover) It's a great song (well it had to be if Max Martin had anything to do with it ) and I'm glad she chose it as a single but that video is SUCH an eyesore 2. Drake feat. Wizkid & Kyla One Dance [1-3-2] Its success just continues to baffle me. 12 weeks at #1 for SUCH an overly average song? Along with the decision to leave the EU, I'm starting to despair for the country 5. Twenty One Pilots Ride [10-6-5] I still keep hearing "I'm boring" in the chorus I wonder if I need to get my ears checked? 6. Meghan Trainor Me Too Whatever novelty was associated with this song is wearing off for me now, and I'm starting to find it a bit annoying. 7. Kungs vs. Cookin On 3 Burners This Girl 8. Rihanna Kiss It Better [7-8] 9. Zayn Like I Would It's not quite up there with Pillowtalk but this probably deserved to have charted higher than it did tbh. 10. Calvin Harris feat. Rihanna This Is What You Came For [34-10] 11. Sia feat. Sean Paul Cheap Thrills [32-9-8-11] 12. P!nk Just Like Fire [28-12] 15. Selena Gomez Kill Em With Kindness Weird how this never jumped out at me when I first heard the album but now I think it's a great song! 17. Kiiara Gold Oh this really is awful. Those chopped up lyrics are SOOOO annoying. Don't like this at all, sorry! 18. The Chainsmokers feat. Daya Dont Let Me Down [18-18] 19. Cheat Codes & Kris Kross Amsterdam Sex 20. Ariana Grande Into You More Max Martin magic 21. Rihanna feat. Drake Work [13-2-6-21-21] 22. Alan Walker Faded [4-22] 23. Flume feat. Kai Never Be Like You [26-5-23] 25. Justin Timberlake Cant Stop The Feeling! [29-25] 26. Galantis No Money 28. Ariana Grande Dangerous Woman [40-16-28] 30. Fifth Harmony feat. Ty Dolla $ign Work From Home [37-34-17-30] 33. Drake feat. Rihanna Too Good Much better than One Dance. 35. Little Mix feat. Sean Paul Hair 36. OneRepublic Wherever I Go 37. Nick Jonas feat. Tove Lo Close [37-19-37] 38. Meghan Trainor No [10-5-11-38] 39. Adele.
Meghan in the top 10, yay not loving Me Too as much as NO but it's still good, such a shame it's not looking to be even slightly as successful.
Fuse snatching that second month top 40 *.*

Hi Mango! 1. I completely agree, my favorite song from 25 but easily the worst video of hers 2. I knew as soon as I posted my chart that you wouldn't like my #2, #3, or #4 Sorry about that! 5. Is it not "I'm boring" ??? Because that's what I hear too!! 6. Hmm well I hope that doesn't happen to me but it sure did for 'All About That Bass' and 'No'... 9. Yeah I certainly think it did. I prefer this one but then I tend to have a soft spot for flops. 15. My only complaint is that she doesn't do enough singing, although I can't stand her voice at other times so maybe it's to her advantage 17. I'll keep that in mind! 20. YES I hope it gets to my #1 soon 33. Close, but nah.
Thank you sir!

Hi Jordan, fab number one, Adele got as close as 3 in my chart last December with that one, but I've heard it too much to rank it quite as high now. Same with SIA, peaked 6 months ago in my chart, and Flume, still love them all though
Like that Thomas Rhett track too. Ben Rector I havent heard, but surprisingly I know most of your chart!
cheers! john

Yeah I had instant love for Adele's song too but held off listening in hopes that it'd be a single. Sia's and Flume's songs on the other hand were definite growers for me (and took their time to impact here as most songs do)!
Yay, I thought to link to Thomas's song but hoped you had already heard it. Ben Rector's is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqtuxo-Y1AA, it's not groundbreaking by any means but pretty catchy!

(Who doesn't love a good BUMP just when you thought this ol' thing had long been dead and buried in the dregs of page 4 and your mind had shifted to its replacement! YOU ARE WELCOME )
I really like that Adele gif! It appears the concept works way better in that form than as a full-length video actually . The song was obviously a great single choice but unfortunately deteriorated to my ear the way I'd anticipated and now I largely find it annoying :/. Odd for an Adele song as most of her output stands the test of time remarkably well.
That top four consistency for Slaylessia (seriously, that girl needs to start slaying less) *.* 'Wild Things' has so much charm to it - rooting for an appearance for the even more charming 'I'm Yours' next month week.
I don't know how this figures in our perpetual Selena opinion misalignment but I find the new single *pretty decent* . I'll give it a bit before I totally go off it and balance is restored~
Just made use of your handy link and gave 'Unsteady' a listen...but found it a bit plodding and repetitive oops. On the bright side, it did make me revisit 'Renegades' ! Was ridiculously late to get on that one, not unlike yourself with 'Gold' (pretty sure mine's worse).
Splendid new entries in 'Me Too', 'Sex', 'Into You', 'Too Good' and 'Hair' (Sean Paul's 'How you gon' get me out your hair girl when I bought it' has definite lyric of the year potential). <3

I should have linked to this version instead! PLEASE listen and give it another chance because this version stands out infinitely more
Finding a decent Send My Love gif was pretty difficult :')
I would also consider 'Kill Em With Kindness' to be *pretty decent*...still far from her best but at least her vocals are listenable and so much of it is just whistling anyway.
