Hey Jordan! Hope the weather's improving for you since last month, we just had a record-breaking mini-summer in February, previous unheard of! Temperatures are starting to drop again from today but it was nice while it lasted
1. Mitch James Old News [22-1] Never heard of him before so I'm guessing he's a country singer? 2. Halsey Without Me [17-1-1-2-2] 3. Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus Nothing Breaks Like A Heart [4-6-3] 4. Ava Max Sweet But Psycho [15-5-3-4] 5. Calvin Harris & RagnBone Man Giant It took me a while to really get into this but I'm quite enjoying it now, especially that horn drop! Controversial opinion but I think this is much better than the Dua or Sam Smith collabs. 6. Mumford & Sons Guiding Light [34-25-11-10-6] 7. Ellie Goulding & Diplo feat. Swae Lee Close To Me [11-9-9-7] 12. Shawn Mendes & Zedd Lost In Japan [11-7-26-37-12] 13. Little Mix feat. Nicki Minaj Woman Like Me [3-12-24-13] 15. Gesaffelstein & The Weeknd Lost In The Fire [35-15] 17. Ariana Grande Break Up With Your Girlfriend, Im Bored I still can't get over how well she's doing right now with these songs but fair play to her. This is probably the best of the 3 singles so far for me. I really like Bloodline though, so I hope that gets given the single treatment at some point! 18. Zara Larsson Ruin My Life [16-28-27-18] 21. Dua Lipa Swan Song This is a bit of a let down isn't it? I mean I know it's not a proper lead single and it's not terrible by any means but I was still expecting it to sound somehow more epic. 22. Lizzo Juice [26-22] 24. P!nk A Million Dreams [19-24] I must admit I was really hoping that 'Walk Me Home' would have snuck in this month! Possibly not her best ever lead single but I live by the motto any P!nk is good P!nk so I'm delighted to see it doing so well already 25. Charli XCX feat. Troye Sivan 1999 [9-10-4-25] 26. Marshmello & Bastille Happier [30-16-15-26] 27. Bene Soaked [30-27] 28. Dean Lewis Be Alright [40-31-28] 29. Post Malone & Swae Lee Sunflower [32-18-29] 30. Sam Smith & Normani Dancing With A Stranger [38-30] 31. Mabel Dont Call Me Up 32. Lewis Capaldi Someone You Loved This is really lovely, I didn't think he would top Grace but I'm definitely preferring this now it would be a very welcome #1 if it can get there. 33. Post Malone Wow. [34-33] 34. Billie Eilish Bury A Friend I don't really get her if I'm honest. This song is a bit weird for me. 35. Imagine Dragons Bad Liar 37. Lauv & Troye Sivan Im So Tired Nice little song, took a while to grow on me but I am quite getting into it now. 39. Lewis Capaldi Grace Excellent selection this month |

Temperatures are starting to drop again from today but it was nice while it lasted Hi Mango! I can't say the weather has improved, it's still unseasonably cold. We did finally get the last of January's snow to melt last week, only to get a fresh layer of snow today! I did hear about the heat wave over there, pretty sweet!1. Mitch James Old News [22-1] Never heard of him before so I'm guessing he's a country singer? 2. Halsey Without Me [17-1-1-2-2] 3. Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus Nothing Breaks Like A Heart [4-6-3] 4. Lauv & Troye Sivan Im So Tired Nice little song, took a while to grow on me but I am quite getting into it now. 39. Lewis Capaldi Grace Excellent selection this month 1. Actually no, he's a Shawn Mendes-esque singer-songwriter from New Zealand. Probably the most random #1 I've ever had! 5. I agree with you that this is better, it's already higher than One Kiss or Promises got in my chart! I love the horn drop too 17. This is probably my fave of the 3 too, and may even contend for #1 at this rate. I keep meaning to check out Bloodline but haven't yet! 21. I was underwhelmed at first but it's really been growing on me lately. Really loving the horns, just like with Giant! 24. Ah sorry, Walk Me Home just impacted too late in the month to sneak in. It will certainly debut next time, I can't really guess how high yet. 32. And sure enough it got there 34. I really prefer Billie's older stuff, aside from 'come out and play' which is only a couple months old and sounds really nice. 37. Same! It should climb a lot next time. Thanks for the comment as always |

hi Riser
3. Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus Nothing Breaks Like A Heart [4-6-3] one of my faves of the year so far, I hope Mark can follow it up soon 5. Calvin Harris & RagnBone Man Giant and of course I love this! Calvin smashes it yet again, his consistency is unreal 16. NOTD & Felix Jaehn feat. Georgia Ku & Captain Cuts So Close this is a lot better than their song that was a minor hit, so of course it did nothing more than scrape the UK Spotify top 200 17. Ariana Grande Break Up With Your Girlfriend, Im Bored well this is the best I've heard from her this era but it doesn't quite live up to the mass hype everyone's giving her 31. Mabel Dont Call Me Up this is a rather good pop song though, wonder if there's any chance of it breaking America 32. Lewis Capaldi Someone You Loved i like this too, annoyed that it's beaten Calvin to the #1 but it's a well made piano ballad great chart! |

Hello Riser! That's 10 out of the 13 debuts *.* Thanks Serge! Nice to see "Giant" debut in your top 10! I also like the debuts of "So Close", "Swan Song", "Don't Call Me Up", "Someone You Loved", "Bury A Friend", "Bad Liar", "I'm So Tired...", "Advice" and "Grace"! Great chart! hi Riser Hi Daniel 3. Lewis Capaldi – Someone You Loved i like this too, annoyed that it's beaten Calvin to the #1 but it's a well made piano ballad great chart! 3. I've heard there's an album coming so you'd think we'd get another track sooner rather than later! 5. This is my fave of his last three 16. I agree it's better. It's a shame Radio 1 didn't playlist it. 17. Agreed It keeps growing on me though! 31. It's starting to get pushed here!! We will see how it does!! (In like July or August considering how slow paced the US is ) 32. Indeed, I'm actually annoyed too but I feel like a Calvin/Rag'n'Bone Man collab was always destined to peak at #2 Thanks for commenting! |

Just checked it out and actually it's not a bad little song at all! Hi Jordan , Hey John, nope not liking any country songs at the moment There may be a Kacey Musgraves song on my next chart but that's it for now. Otherwise I think it's been a super strong start of the year for music, as evidenced by my top 5 as you say but it's gonna be even more competitive on my next chart!wot no new country?! Some nice new pop tracks (new to me that is) in your charts. Pretty much a "Best of Early 2019" top 5 there too. Good stuff! cheers! Thanks for commenting |
