I think it’s a case of more people becoming aware of it due to TikTok etc., - The virus certainly helped in people discovering the song though.

I'm not a fan. I like Julia Michaels generally, she's had some below average releases but I like her voice. Idk what he's trying to do but it just sounds like hes talking with a very slight rhythm to it which isn't so bad but ending the line with "right?" is just incredibly off putting I 100% understand the meaning of the song I just do not like how it's been done oops
