25. Shoo Shoo Baby (4.88)

"Don't cry baby...don't sigh baby"

I'm not surprised that this is last in the countdown. The song was released as Mis-Teeq's final single together and lack of promo and music video meant it didn't even chart! The song appears on the soundtrack of 'Valiant' (2005). The song was also released as a promo single from their Greatest Hits album, which was their final studio release before disbanding. The cover is a very different sound from both their solo material and singles together. The harmonies are great, but the song just doesn't fit them as people, so I'm glad it finished last.

It's pretty atrocious, however I'm pretty sure the actual release of that single never materialised despite being scheduled.

24. Make It Hot (5.13)

"So come on over, there's only one chance!"

Bit of a nothingy song from Sabrina with DJ Assad. I'm surprised this didn't finish lower than "Shoo Shoo Baby" actually since it's not very well known and it's not great. It's the most recent release from Sabrina, and unfortunately hasn't charted since it's release. If Sabrina does attempt to make another comeback, I'd like to see her make a more R&B influenced song, rather than this generic dance trash.

23. Your Love (5.17)

"I been, I been waiting..."

What a travesty! This is such a nice little ballad, Alesha smashes her parts and whilst the rap sections aren't great, they're very inoffensive. It definitely doesn't deserve to be in the bottom three! Alesha looks absolutely smoking hot in the video, and this is in fact her last single release. Despite her profile having been raised by joining the Britain's Got Talent judging panel, we've only had one release from her - this featured song. Plus I'm an absolute sucker for the 'fake record' effect at the start!

No surprises so far, glad these are out though, Shoo Shoo Baby was cancelled I think, which is a good thing considering it would have bombed anyway, and none of Sabrina's solo stuff are that good anyway and Your Love is bland at best, Hit It Hard to go next I think

22. Do It Our Way (Play) (5.53)

"I'm taking control...hey, my ladies, let's play!"

I find it quite surprising that this isn't more popular. It's effectively a Price Tag-sound-a-like and is probably one of Alesha's most pop singles ever. It's a nice, feel-good number and deserved to be a little bit higher. I guess sounding like a Jessie J song on Buzzjack is a recipe for disaster since everyone seems to hate her for no reason. The song was used to lead the promo campaign for Weight Watchers in January 2012 and charted at #53.

21. Every Little Part of Me (5.53)

"You got my heart..."

Just missing out on a top 20 position is Alesha's lowest charting single to date - Every Little Part of Me featuring Jay Sean. It received the same average as "Do It Our Way (Play)", however finished higher because it received a higher individual score (9.5 compared to 9). It deserved to be bigger chartwise, but anything she released after "Radio" and 'The Entertainer' flopped would've flopped too. It's a fairly inoffensive, average song and like the previous three songs, I don't think it should be in the bottom five.

20. Hit It Hard (6.11)

"Tonight we're gonna be getting into something..."

The song to kick off the top 20 is Sabrina's second of three solo singles in the countdown, and the first to have an average over the 6 mark. "Hit It Hard" is another dance banger from her, and whilst her vocals are slightly ruined in this genre it's not actually too bad a song. It's certainly a lot better than the awful "Make It Hot", but pails in comparison with her first single - "OMG". They did a good job with the video, considering they probably had a very low budget. Overall not a bad effort from her.

Every Little Part Of Me was a pointless release, of course it was gonna flop and Do It Our Way was only a digital release wasn't it, Sabrina's Hit It Hard got higher than I thought, oh well.

I quite like 'Every Little Part Of Me', but I'd have gone with 'Baddest Chick' (not that anything was going to do well in the aftermath of the album's performance).

'To Love Again' is AWFUL.

'Knockdown' is catchy and I have a huge soft spot for 'Drummer Boy'.

To Love Again is awful and totally wrecked the album campaign, Take Control is forgettable at best.

Drummer Boy wasn't very good, she should have gone with Baddest Chick as the first single, but Knockdown was actually okay and deserved better and also liked Alesha's first one Lipstick it's fantastic, also have a soft spot for Mis-Teeq's This Is How We Do, find it better than Why and Style
