pretty weird to me that they supported AIR, which were amazing but pretty alternative,
but then didn't playlist Anastacia guess cos of her age? (we all know how ageist R1 can be) |

Anastacia’s age probably didn’t come into it given that at the time she claimed to be 5 years younger than she was.
They do play her music when they do retro features though. Are they doing summer mixes this year? |

It looks as if ‘Radio 1 Anthems’ has replaced it this year as it’s now being featured on Clara’s show between 10am and 11am. Loved looking at the 2004 Radio 1 playlist.
