Apparently the 'Sweetener' artwork was revealed 2 years ago today and that got me thinking about Ariana's artwork in general! I don't think we've ever had a thread about her studio album covers before. So, what is your favourite? Feel free to vote above and perhaps even rank all five below!

I voted for 'thank u, next' - a great photo and I love the shade of pink! The 'turning my world upside down' concept once again was good too.

03. Sweetener (the beige background really lets this down, but at least it had a really pretty peach vinyl, plus great music video aesthetics for the era)

Almost the exact reverse of when they were released! 'Dangerous Woman' definitely felt like a turning point after fairly samey artwork for her first two.

Dangerous Woman is my favourite especially the deluxe! It just shows serious attitude, the pose wub.gif

Then I’d say

2. sweetener - it’s her brightest artwork so it stands out
3. Yours Truly - there isn’t much between this and my #4 tbh they’re similar ish but I kinda like the spotlight effect on this.
4. My Everything
5. thank u, next - yeah it’s not bad it’s just too much border I’d say I’d have rather it been a full image shot personally


However... no tears left to cry single cover beats all of these!

I think the border on 'thank u, next' really helps it pop but she looks so gorgeous with the neck piece and her pony sprawled out across the floor. But that 'Dangerous Woman' mask too and I love the kind of Western Wanted poster feel of it.
