I think the album's sales so far are bloody amazing! Everyone saying its a flop compared to the first, it was never ever going to sell aswell as the first, its what happens with all acts, and thats the sales off one single, wait till FA is out the albums gonna shoot back up in the the upcoming weeks

WPSIATWIN sold brilliantly. It sold so much in it's first couple of weeks and very little albums experience that, and I mean I never thought in a million years they'd come up with an album that sold as well as their first did, and like you those album sales happened with only really 1 single. FA is really shaping up to be huge, as it's got a lot of wide spread appeal and quite a few people that wouldn't consider themselves Arctic Monkey's fans have said great things about FA. |

I've updated the first post, with the full Top30 album's.
Yep it's beginning to steadily catch up ground with the Kaiser Chiefs album now which is good, I reckon it could over take it within the next couple of weeks! |

I hope FA can make the album come back to the top3! That would be the least for such an amazing song!

These are the sale figures for last week:
01 White Stripes 66.000 02 Travelling Wilburys 52.100 03 Enrique Iglesias 27.200 06 Amy Winehouse 21.500 08 Calvin Harris 16.200 35 Ray LaMontagne 6.900 Source: BuzzJack and Music Weekly I'd hazard a guess that the album sold about 14k this week, give or take a little as sales seem to pretty tight once you're out of the Top10. Hopefully though the album will go Top10 next week again. |

I reckon the album sold about 15k this week, which means it should have over taken the Kaiser Chiefs in total sales so far!

good cos arctics are so much better!! So true. And hopefully this should pass 500k in a couple of weeks, it's on course to do so at the moment and the exposure the single's getting and all the gigs they're playing can't be doing them any harm and add that to the LCCC gigs that are happening as well, hopefully it's sales should be increasing all the time. |
