QUOTE Introducing PlayStation®Classic It all began in Japan in 1994. The first PlayStation® changed everything. And now today we are announcing the new PlayStation®Classic – a miniature recreation mirroring the look of that original console with two wired controllers and 20 preloaded games. Just plug into your TV and play some of the best games from that iconic PlayStation® era, including Final Fantasy® VII, Tekken™ 3, R4: RIDGE RACER TYPE 4, Jumping Flash! and Wild Arms™. Coming 3 December 2018 for £89.99 RRP. Following the retro gaming revolution, Sony have announced that their first games console will be released in a miniature format with pre-installed games just like Nintendo and SEGA have been doing in recent times. Is this something you would be tempted to buy? Did you own the original PlayStation? Do you still own a working original PlayStation console? |

It's only worth buying if Crash Team Racing is on there. Otherwise no. I still have my console just none of the games
Also, why Tekken 3 and not Tekken 2?! |

CTR was a classic game, the closest rival to Mario Kart! As for Tekken, I was introduced to that game series with the third intallment, so maybe that game sold better than the first two did, plus I imagine it had more characters than the first two games? |

If Gran Turismo is involved im curious but probably not curious enough to buy. I have an original PlayStation somewhere and my PS2 still survives and is backwards compatible so I can play OG PlayStation games whenever

Twenty games is a little small for all the classics the PS1 has. I may get it just so my daughter can check out some of the games I played as a kid.

I'm going to wait until some of the other games are announced, because at the minute it's not drawing me in as much as I thought it would have, despite Final Fantasy VII and Tekken 3 being two of the best games on the system.
Like...am I the only one that has never heard of 'Jumping Flash'? |

Nope, nor Wild Arms. I'm assuming they were either big in Japan or the states.

I’ve heard of Wild Arms but only because it kept coming up when trying to search for the game Wild 9 which there was a demo of at some point free with the PlayStation magazine!

Lack of some of the biggest sellers is very disappointing. Especially when the franchise with two of the top 3 games isn’t included at all
