This is one of those songs that didn't really hit me as a single choice until the video premiered. The video (which is classy and outstanding btw x) really made the song click with me in such a huge way! I was dubious about this song as a single at first but everything just CLICKED. Top tier CiCi for me and I'm so pleased to see it finish in the top 10! Such a brilliant song. So smooth, classy and irresistably catchy! I didn't realise this was so popular? It's a good song, I just feel like she has done this type of thing, to greater effect before and I think this being as high as 6 is a tad too high, imo. Especially as it's beaten some absolute faves of mine! It's nice, it just doesn't do much for me. This was a hit in the US, reaching #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ending at #83 for the year! When 'Ciara' was released, 'Overdose' became an instant fan favourite. It became a fave with critics alike, who campaigned for it to become a single. Even though it impacted some US radio formats, the release was eventually fully scrapped, including the music video </3 It's a shame, because I imagine with the strong reviews, it wouldn't have needed to have been given a full push in order to become a hit and with a little bit more, it could have been a decent sized one at the least. I’d be happy with any of them winning. What a solid top three.
Goodies is my favourite of the three but only just, they’re all 10/10s  I’m glad Love Sex Magic didn’t make the top three, it’s great but not one of her absolute best like the remaining three are. |

Goodies is one I never appreciated at the time but I enjoy it these days and it still sounds fresh!
I'm so happy Like A Boy is top 2! Come on. 1,2 Step wouldn't be a bad winner though.

What a stellar top 4 (I like Overdose but I don't think it should been at 5) Love Sex and Magic is such a bop and has aged really well . Goodies was lowkey robbed of winning but i'll let it go. That for me has to be one of the best debut singles ever.
