The Block: we are only giving you your budget weekly so you don't all overspend. Also The Block: nevermind now order everything for all your rooms in advance even tho this is week 4. Also The Block: nevermind you're all going home now because of the Pandemic thanks for spending all that money. Should have taken a page from Masterchef I guess. This is done now. Long season that seemed to drag on and on and on. But great Auction. Interesting given a pandemic that the houses all sold, and for such large profits. When the $4.2 Million Dollar Bid came in for Jimmy and Tam my jaw dropped. $1 Million Dollar win there. Well deserved. They worked hard this season. |

Big Brother Australia: Filming has wrapped for the Second Season on Channel 7.
Last season was a chore, mostly because of Editing.. But it ended up being okay. I am hopeful they can fix the issues they had for 2020. |

Yeah I'll give it a go if they iron out the issues, I didn't end up watching much of it becasue everything wrong was pretty insurmountable at that point. I think they can easily iron it all out with a new series though, fingers crossed!

I have still only seen MAFS 2019, but I'm mid-way through 2018 and it's a f***ing chore. I don't think I'd want anyone from this season to come back, apart from Bronson maybe?
From 2019, I'd probably only want to see Cathy, Mikey, Amanda (I preferred Tash, but she wasn't looking for love), Michael and the either Connie or Jonathan. Liz and Seb are still together (as of July anyways). Shocker. This post has been edited by Aaron.: 31st December 2020, 02:51 PM |

My Kitchayn Rules: Appears this show has been rested, Pete left the show earlier this year and Manu joined POO. Not a surprise they are giving this a pass.
I'm A Celebrity Cast: Grant Denver Amanda Keller Pauline Colin Fassnidge Ash Williams Robert 'Dippa' Dipierdomenico Abbie Chatfield Toni Pearen Jack Vidgen Adam and Simon from Gogglebox Pettifleur Berenger Starts January 3rd. I likely will give this a pass. I do like Adam and Simon. I also haven't seen the Housewives of Melbourne either.. I've heard nothing but great things so I'm sure Pettifleur is an excellent casting choice. |

Paulini is the only one of those I'm bothered about, can't say I'm too enthralled to care there either!

Amazing Race Australia Season 5 starts February 1st: https://10play.com.au/the-amazing-race-aust.../tpa210105rgmvp
Filmed during the Pandemic so they don't leave Australia. I don't think I've ever finished a season of TARAU. I didn't even start watching the last season. |

First few looks at the new Australian Big Brother House/Housemates on the two links below.
Awful clickbate blogs to get any information - frustrating. No date from what I can tell, Back on our screen within a month or so apparently. HEAVY emphasis on the Social Media influencer route. 2020 they forgot to film the first eviction. 2021 they had to evacuate the house due to a fire in the nearby area. MESS. https://www.perthnow.com.au/entertainment/t...-ng-b881783970z https://www.pedestrian.tv/entertainment/big...tralia-trailer/ |

Big Brother ads on tv just show it’s becoming more & more an indoor Survivor Which we will be hopefully hear news about soon
The Cube gameshow is getting an Australian adaptation which I’m excited about as I used to watch the UK one as a kid! Also the Holey Moley mini golf meets wipeout show started today and it’s very obvious which part of the show is most entertaining |

Abbie winning I'm A Celeb, QUEEN. I was so sure Grant would win from the second we saw the line-up
I just wish they didn't call Big Brother Big Brother tbh, because it's not, I don't think I want to bother again as when they call it Big Brother, you just find yourself pining for the old show and thinking of what it COULD be |

Big Brother ads on tv just show it’s becoming more & more an indoor Survivor Which we will be hopefully hear news about soon This is how Big Brother should be going forward. A strategic game like Survivor, versus the popularity contest Big Brother Australia once was. I've heard rumors this has been renewed for 2 more seasons after this upcoming season airs. It has potential, they missed the mark last year with editing however. |

I'm A Celebrity Australia: so can we just take a moment to discuss this chaotic mess.
This was my first season and it was... A lot. I almost gave up but was rewarded with what could only be described as a season somewhat like old school BBAU. Specifically 3 and 4. But just, in a jungle. With celebrities. The producers very much championed the likes of Dipper, Ash and Grant. Dipper even got his own in-show talk show highly present on the daily shows.. Very old school Big Brother. The sheer randomness of what made it to air was like watching daily shows from the BBAU days. I also found it very odd that the first elimination was before the last celebrity even went in and from here there wasn't another elimination for another week? Somehow 7 made the final and was the first public vote... Everything else was random guessing games. Seriously. And because of this randomness the final 7 were not really all that interesting. The show very favorably focused on Grant, Dipper, Ash, Abi, Colin and Pettifleur. Adam, Symon, Alli, Paulini and Travis never really had a chance to shine. A few had some really powerful moments but faded right back into obscurity. Ash I never ever in a million years will find attractive. Pettifleur delivered and slayed as expected, definitely a highlight. Dipper pretty much got the Ryan/Trevor edit, the show at times basically ran around him. So many looked at him like some type of God. I have no doubt he would have probably done well in the public vote to win. Colin was actually a pleasant surprise, I really warmed to him. Toni got bit by the snake and we never saw her again. Jess I know from The Block, so not surprising she made it all the way to the Final 3, she already had a strong fanbase for these shows. Grant I thought would have won, but Abbie had a great journey (sans anything related to Ash). |
