The 104th edition of this started yesterday with Geriant Thomas winning the time trial. He still holds onto the yellow jersey after Stage 2. Chris Froome crashed today, he is said to be all right. Live coverage of this will be on ITV4 & Eurosport. Anyone watching this? |

Thomas still holds to the overall lead as we go into Stage 4, Froome is 12 seconds back in second.

I think it's great that Thomas is holding the yellow! He's always done pretty well and it's great to see him getting some glory of his own after spending all these years helping Froome!
Unlikely as it is, I wouldn't write him off winning the overall GC - or at least being in the Top 10. |

at them disqualifying Sagan! Think that's quite unfair - I thought the penalties were enough really

Shame all round really because I really felt like Cav could've come through for a 31st stage win there and now it looks like he'll be out for the rest of the tour. : ( |

They refused Sagan the right to appeal, it was unfair that he was disqualified. It's not as if it was initial. He himself was worried about how Cav was. Cavendish has withdrawn with a broken shoulder.

Unlikely as it is, I wouldn't write him off winning the overall GC - or at least being in the Top 10. ...or maybe not because he's broken his collarbone. Opinions on that stage? I honestly think they knew it was gonna result in big GC crashes and just thought 'let's include it anyway'. The fact that half of FDJ including Demare have been wiped out because they finished outside the time limit is a little unfair as well. |

It was probably one of the most eventful stages that I can remember, the one on Sunday. Wishing an recovery for Geraint Thomas from breaking his collarbone.

Marcel Kittel seems to be unstoppable at the moment, could be a re-run of Mark Cavendish in 2009!

Marcel Kittel seems to be unstoppable at the moment, could be a re-run of Mark Cavendish in 2009! It does make stages like this extremely boring though, with 3 of the 4 prominent sprinters out Kittel's bound to win all of them unless something drastic happens. |

Why now Froome to lose the yellow jersey. Although he can still get it back in the upcoming stages hopefully.

Smart move by Sky today to take advantage of the inevitable splits on the final kick which left Aru vulnerable, great to see Froomey back in Yellow!

Kittel out as well? There's hardly any sprinters left in this competition! The final day sprint is definitely gonna be intesesting.

Froome should aim to increase his lead tomorrow. He is worthy of a win bigger than he currently has.

Congrats to Froomey! Glad Bardet kept his Top 3 position, always nice to see some French interest in the Top 3

Many congratulations to Chris Froome on an 4th Tour de France title and his 3rd in a row. Great achievement from him.
