Weakest effort Ava has done yet for me sadly and I'm usually obsessed with most of her dancey tracks too
 although I am still happy it's outpeaked that pointless Tina Turner remake he did but hope it doesn't get too much further (but it will of course lol).

Having heard this a few times now I'm slowly warming to it. I get the criticisms but for me this is much more inspired than his Higher Love/What's Love efforts which were literally straight cover versions. This song at least has original lyrics and merely interpolates the Shakira melody. At the very least it's easily the best Ava has sounded on a song in a few years.

I think changing the lyrics (but only slightly) actually makes it worse than being a straight cover honestly.
