Ooooh! They're pumping out these albums regularly now.
Really liked Night Thoughts, it felt like a proper return to form.
Fitting you started this thread! Looking forward to this!
Really looking forward to this, interesting to see they're going for a different producer from their last two studio albums. Also interesting that there's going to be string arrangements for it too - it may be too much to ask for another "Still Life", but something quite lush would be very welcome.
The first single from the album "The Invisibles" has been released -
Next track out there now...
And another one
It has been pointed out that the video for Life Is Golden was filmed in Pripyat. Therefore, it features a nuclear sky.
At least one person will know what that means.
I think I quite like this album
Which tracks are the high points?
I'm not as sold on the clips as I want to be
Like the best Suede albums (Dog Man Star and Night Thoughts) it is more than just a collection of songs. Most of the songs run into each other without a break, So far, I'd say the best tracks for me are Life Is Golden and Flytipping. The latter takes time to build, but, once it does, it's glorious.
